The human presence adds a lot,so is the title!
(5 years and 574 days ago)Excellent choice on both!
Everything is where it should be (horizon on the upper third & figure on the cross line of the second third and the first third vertically).
Good framing on this.
So well done!
I use to own a Panasonic DMC-FZ18 back in 2007.
(5 years and 578 days ago)Really well made cameras.
This was actually my very first camera ever, thats the camera i entered photography with.
According to popular tradition, the nine stripes represent the nine syllables of the phrase "ΕλευθεÏία ή Θάνατος" ("Freedom or Death", the five blue stripes for the syllables "ΈλευθεÏία" (Freedom) and the four white stripes "ή Θάνατος" (Death).
(5 years and 788 days ago)There is a blue canton in the upper hoist-side corner bearing a white cross the cross symbolises Eastern Orthodox Christianity, the established religion of the Greek people of Greece and Cyprus.
And it is sunny...the whole year!
Impossible shot...focus dead on birds eyes!!!
(5 years and 802 days ago)My hat off...
Well done.
(5 years and 823 days ago)It stood out from most of the rest entry's.
I had a look on your portfolio and you are very promising...
If i may...a bit of advice (not really an advice).
Quality over quantity.
You don't have to submit 4 or 5 entry's on each contest.
You have a very good "eye" so you have to be more confident (if you don't feel very..you will get there pretty soon).
Choose your photos carefully & don't submit all 5 photos just for you to have more chances of have a wining one!
I hope you don't get this the wrong way.
The human presence adds a lot to the photo...
(5 years and 826 days ago)Spooky mood!
Excellent mood you have captured here author. Just a small piece of advice. Turning the chair slightly on an angle so it doesn't face straight to the camera will give more depth to the whole photo. The armchair you used has a really nice shape & texture. Overall well lit and composed.

(5 years and 1187 days ago)Νέος Κόσμος.
(5 years and 1253 days ago)Μπραχαμι εδώ, μόνιμος κάτοικος Λονδίνου πλέον.
AUDEZE...we have an audiophile here.
(5 years and 1255 days ago)They better sound amazing for $700.00.
Nice light as well!
Camden town?
(5 years and 1336 days ago)I knew it was you.
(5 years and 1429 days ago)Fine art here!
Hi there author. This photo has a lot of potential but there's something missing & I think is a more dramatic light. I'm not trying to be a smart ass here but I think that the whole scenery is quite good but it lacks of mood. Quite there but not there yet. It's kinda flat IMHO but not bad at all. Maybe a low key version would look much better. Wish you all the best.
(5 years and 1435 days ago)Beautiful place...
(5 years and 2120 days ago)I can see my egg in the photos...
(5 years and 2127 days ago)Thank you for the honor!
I downloaded your photo if thats all right with you of course.
My hat off...
(5 years and 2155 days ago)Excellent mood!
Very nice mood here.
(5 years and 2208 days ago)Nostalgic mood in this...
(5 years and 2218 days ago)Well done!
Very nice lighting.
(5 years and 2312 days ago)Very, very creative work here author.
(5 years and 2349 days ago)It's nice to see entry's like this one.
If i where you i would compose this a little bit different...
(5 years and 2354 days ago)I would roll & place a piece of paper inside the bottle(you don't have to write something on it) & i would burn the edges just a bit & fold it (to give an old texture to it).
I would search for a sandy sea shore with a beautiful sunset on the background, dig a small hole on the sand & place the bottle in it (so it looks like the sea washed it on the shore).
Using swallow DOF (1.8-2.8) & rule of thirds i would bring the viewers eye directly to the bottle leaving the sand & sunset blur (the water & the sun would create a beautiful bokeh on the background).
Your b/g right now is very busy with objects that have nothing to add to your photo & the bottle is dead center.
This is just me off course & my opinion only!
Sorry if i sound hard.
You capture very well the "Savana" mood here author.
(5 years and 2354 days ago)The cactus tree does not fit correctly with the whole scenery(trees in savana are tall and wide on the top) but thats a minor detail.
I really like the color of the sky & the mountain on the background.
Creative thinking if you ask me.
Well done!
Nice black & gray tones.
(5 years and 2358 days ago)The BOH on the sky are little distracting but thats a minor detail...
A closer crop would be perfect here.
(5 years and 2358 days ago)You have lot's of lines,colors & curves to make a beautiful abstract!
Just my opinion.
A tighter frame (to create a repetitive pattern) would be better IMHO.
(5 years and 2360 days ago)I knew it the moment i saw it
(5 years and 2468 days ago)Bravo Vibeke!
Fantastic.....
(5 years and 2469 days ago)This is a keeper....
(5 years and 2469 days ago)Nice & clean.
(5 years and 2469 days ago)I have to agree with Vibeke.
(5 years and 2469 days ago)Good luck author!
Looks like there is a lot of noise but the colors are great.
(5 years and 2469 days ago)The background is very bussy but is a funny shot...
(5 years and 2469 days ago)This is actually same as mine exept the keys....
(5 years and 2469 days ago)Size does not matter....lol
Very nice lighting here....
(5 years and 2469 days ago)The kindest & funniest person in PXL.
(5 years and 2475 days ago)The subjects you chose are perfect for this type of editing...
(5 years and 2475 days ago)Lots of colors here & the textures are awesome.
Incredible clarity!!!!
This typewriter is even older than mine.
(5 years and 2475 days ago)From the angle i guess this is a exhibit on a museum or some thing.
If not...you should definitely include the whole typewriter in you frame.
It's a wonderful piece.
I see you improve your composition (on your first photo the pot was hiding the bottle).
(5 years and 2475 days ago)Lighting is definitely better but there is still lots of noise in high resolution.
The folds on the b/g add a lot.
All the items are spot on but i would really...really like to own the clock.
(5 years and 2475 days ago)Fantastic piece!!!
So classy.
(5 years and 2475 days ago)Aha...still life, one of my favorites!
(5 years and 2477 days ago)First of all i really like the wooden bow but i would prefer if the pillow & the light ray where missing. The old furniture on the back is a plus & the angle of view is all so nice.
I mostly use artificial light & i know there might be difficulties with natural light but is a very nice composition.
All so try to keep you composition balanced. It would be better if the tablecloth was placed horizontally (so you loose those "nasty" white triangles).
I wish you good luck & thank you for participating in this contest!
Unfortunately i couldn't find a model to pose for me so i am not participating in this contest.
(5 years and 2477 days ago)This is a great story telling photo author.
Simple but says a lot!
Impressive clarity.
(5 years and 2479 days ago)What are you shooting with?
Much better don't you think?
(5 years and 2480 days ago)If a photo is a set up (composition)you have all the time you want to "correct" all the small imperfections/flaws.Small details makes a big difference...Have a great night too!!!!
Nice idea but i think that you should loose the black part on the top left.Maybe a better framing would do the job.
(5 years and 2480 days ago)All so there is lots of noise in high resolution.
i am honored...
(5 years and 2481 days ago)I believe that this entry was one of you best entry's ever.
(5 years and 2482 days ago)If i am allowed to say...your compositions are only getting better. This one made me try even harder!
Excellent composition & post production.Very organic.
(5 years and 2483 days ago)If you had turn the box just a little bit to the right we would be able to see the "less" illuminated side of it & it would look much much better.
(5 years and 2514 days ago)Nice colors & lighting tho!
Good luck.
