Sorry but I still believe this is "selective editing" and not editing the "whole image equally." (a.k.a. non selective editing). IMO
(5 years and 2359 days ago)I m finished !! LOL !!
(5 years and 2359 days ago)You better stop before it gets too juicy
(5 years and 2359 days ago)Lookin like that, someone might wanna give her a good peeling !!
(5 years and 2359 days ago)I'm sorry, but using selective tools like Dodge and Burn are not permitted. Perhaps you can reload the image prior to making those selective adjustment. I hope so.
(5 years and 2360 days ago)She looks like she might be going to the local fruit stand to hang out with all the other ladies of the night !!! That might even be good for the country song contest !! ( LADY WITH THE TIGHT FITTIN SKIN)
(5 years and 2360 days ago)OOO LA LA !!
(5 years and 2360 days ago)Nice. The light on the pot is beautiful and right on theme. The image is almost dreamy. Well done
(5 years and 2361 days ago)Great,great...GL
(5 years and 2361 days ago)Wonderful
(5 years and 2362 days ago)Lovely
(5 years and 2363 days ago)Congrats on the second place Dimitris
(5 years and 2370 days ago)Very well done.
(5 years and 2371 days ago)Good composition! Is it a salt?
(5 years and 2372 days ago)That's FANTASTIC
(5 years and 2374 days ago)Congrats, nice entry.
(5 years and 2375 days ago)Congrats!!
(5 years and 2377 days ago)An intriguing space where I can still recognize the source despite all the chopping—kudos!.
(5 years and 2378 days ago)I do feel the flatness of the image could be remedied by focusing on adjusting the uniform lighting. I would make the chandeliers the primary light sources, shadowing the outer edges.
There need to be tiny, dark shadows where the columns and planters touch the floor in order to ground them.
The planters need broader, slightly weaker shadows to recognize how much wider the upper portions of the planters are. Most disturbing are the planters' high horizon lines that don't match the lower horizon of all the other elements.
Awesome
(5 years and 2378 days ago)Very impressive work. GL
(5 years and 2378 days ago)Looks good, nice idea. Good luck!
(5 years and 2379 days ago)Cute aliens. Would be good to blur the flames & make them less opaque...also maybe give the edges a yellow tinge as in your source pic.
(5 years and 2384 days ago)inventive take from this source GREAT!
(5 years and 2384 days ago)So much lovely work done here...too bad it will go unnoticed because of the lack of a dominant main subject.
(5 years and 2387 days ago)I love your concept and you turn the sourceimage in several ones. Great, GL
(5 years and 2388 days ago)Very imaginative, but the focus clarity of the image is too inconsistent to "read" smoothly to the eye, particularly the background behind the items in and on the water. Some selective blurring will help push the background down and make your focal point of the water stand out more. I would also slightly darken the background behind the ship sails to help them "pop" a bit more.
(5 years and 2392 days ago)Also, since this is a "night" scene, you need to adjust colors. As a very old song used to sing "Red is black, and yellow, white..." At night, yellows are not yellow, and the green would be black...While there may be yellows, they would be from incandescent lights. Yours are giving a blue cast, making the color situation even more noticeable.
Interesting idea. The domes wouldn't have reflections, being behind the rocks, but the rocks would. The reflection of the creature's tail at left needs alignment, and IMO there would be some ripples around the objects in the water.
(5 years and 2393 days ago)The soft lighting, DOF, and added pop of purple color, really make the kitten and his curiosity stand out. Beautifully done!
(5 years and 2399 days ago)Would be better if the shadows matched the light source.
(5 years and 2401 days ago)Love the time-warp effect. Cool world you've created here. Love the great contrast.
(5 years and 2401 days ago)I like this effect of abandoned planet which is visited by ET's, like in a fiction movie...well, perhaps in some time will not a fiction. GL
(5 years and 2402 days ago)The light makes the eyes very expressive... swetttttttttttttt composition. Here is also not easy to vote, all are lovely principally for me! GL
(5 years and 2403 days ago)its not a baby. but cool pic
(5 years and 2404 days ago)lovely, great setup and cute kitten
(5 years and 2405 days ago)I like the effect but it looks rushed, There are floating artifacts left from the building and also towards the centre of the image there is a blurred section on guard rail (soft masked?) and a little white clipping on the furthest part.
(5 years and 2405 days ago)Awesome
(5 years and 2406 days ago)Like the stark & sketchy effect! Good imagination.
(5 years and 2407 days ago)A very interesting concept, I like the DOF with the doors and light. GL
(5 years and 2409 days ago)was trying to spot the hidden one out and spotted at the top of the roof
(5 years and 2413 days ago)Very beautiful, but I agree with Friiskiwi. The doorway seems more the central point, than either of the doors off to the side.
(5 years and 2414 days ago)Figures need shadows. The light source is obvious.
(5 years and 2414 days ago)mystical shot
(5 years and 2414 days ago)What beautiful composition! Great!
(5 years and 2418 days ago)Congratulations on 1st place, A well constructed photo, as always.
(5 years and 2419 days ago)I feel the door opening, not the door is the main focus in this photo. A different cropping would have made t more On theme, as far as I'm concerned.
(5 years and 2419 days ago)the old leather, great composition
(5 years and 2420 days ago)Very nice textures.
(5 years and 2422 days ago)Just a great composition, congrats!
(5 years and 2453 days ago)Congratulations on 1st place. a wonderful entry, love the setup.
(5 years and 2454 days ago)knew it was you... very well done
