This looks much better.

Cute photo, guess this is the original crop, so you can't do much about the top and bottom, you may want to try and reprocess it though. The man and boy are really light and flat, while the background is really dark, That isn't too much of a problem, but you could try to get more life into the people.

Loving the burst effects on the lights. I'd rename the photo though, as the cat(s) are not the main focus of the photograph. All the best!
