In case you're asking yourself what's not working in the image:
is that brick wall. You have 2 vertical elements(wall & dress),both black but the wall is bigger and gets too much of the composition.

If you had another wall in the left, and at different angles maybe, it would have got the girl stand up in the comp.

This looks a bit more retro/steampunk than futuristic to me. Could just be my personal opinion, though. I do like the creativity you took with this and the angle you chose works very well. GL!

Pretty funny, but I doubt you'd see that guy's legs inside the bus, since there are shutters behind the window (unless the legs are between the window and shutter). Abd maaaaybe for even more impact you could make the bus bigger, but that's up to you. Good luck!

I'm confused...has this image been changed? dewkid says this image is a copy but the link he posted does not look like this image except for the stone arch theme but even the stones are different. The 3 sources are easily identifiable in this piece.
Was a correction or new chop put in place of another?
At this point I see no copyright issues here.

flickr has a ton of great useable images...in their creative commons. be sure to tick the box in the advanced search to include only those that allow manipulations and changes to the image.
also, you can find SOME on deviant art, not all of them are creative commons, but...there are some great stocks that can be used off deviant art if you just do a little poking around.
also, there are members here that have stock galleries as well. up on the bar there is a tab that says "pictures" and a drop down menu comes up saying "art" and "stock"... pick the "stock" one and you'll find a ton.

Interesting idea, I really like the force field. The only problem was that I really didn't notice it until I looked at your sbs. I'm not exactly sure why it gets lost in the image, the only thing I can think of is the smoke from her hands. Maybe if you made it into some type of electricity which also lit the globe? Regardless nice entry and good luck!

err ummm.. author.. look at the light hitting the model and look at the cast shadow.. think about it..a simple flip of the female might work.... (the baby could use some under shadow and some perspective shrinking... he's six feet tall at the moment.. his head is the same size as the female (if not larger then the female)

Other then that.. the idea is fantasitc.. but I'm just suggesting fixes that will give you a higher votes... (PS peeps are really anal retentive and detail is soooooooooo important... or they just vote low and move one.. hehehehe)... good luck and fun image !!!

i don't really see how you used source 2.
and i think perhaps a higher res version of source one would work out better. You've got a good start to something with the way you've done this, i just think that the portrait you chose to start with should have been something of higher quality so that you could have better results.
