Author, a "vignette" is when darker, out of focus (usually) edges are placed at the corners. It gives it that "Old Timey" look. But, Mod (et al), it might just be my old eyes, but I'm not sure I see one on this shot. When I look at it in high res, the dark areas in the corners just appear to be the natural composition, not to have been added. *shrug* I don't know. I could be wrong.

There are lots of shots taken on film that don't show grain. There are crystal clear shots taken on film. Sometimes grain adds to a shot, but certainly not always

Now, to me, this is a perspective that shows "relaxing." I love laying there and gazing out to the hills

I think it's a cool shot, but if I remember, your SBS said you used "selective color" when working on the bananas. I don't think we're allowed to use selective color in our entries (unless the theme specifies it's ok)

Nice action shot, but it's cropped a little close. Can't really tell it's a play at home... (the ball and glove of the catcher would help a lot)
