I kind of agree with the author here. If we analyze each shot to that level, almost nothing is free. Walking on the beach that's close to your house? Are you naked, or did you pay for those clothes and shoes? I think the "free" thing in the family reunion is the company, not the food etc.

Well, usually if you're at a birthday or some other celebration with cake, they don't make you pay for your piece.
