Soooo... this is your favorite vacation destination?
(5 years and 3576 days ago)That's a nicely designed fence using available resources.
(5 years and 3576 days ago)yep... like they said
(5 years and 3576 days ago)I can handle the blur... but it's just a little dark
(5 years and 3576 days ago)It's obviously too late to remove the leaf, but if you cropped right below it you would still have the top barbed wire on the right, and the distraction would be gone.
(5 years and 3576 days ago)Huh... that's wierd. I want to see it in about ten years.
(5 years and 3576 days ago)Cool. Would have been good to include the top of the post on the right.
(5 years and 3576 days ago)Looks a lot like eastern Wyoming
(5 years and 3576 days ago)This is very dramatic, but by positioning the structure between the wires it seems to make the subject those structures, rather than the fence
(5 years and 3576 days ago)Cool. Is there any particular reason people hang their shoes on this fence?
(5 years and 3576 days ago)Nice, but more about the flower than the fence
(5 years and 3576 days ago)The buildings don't look that dramatically different in terms of age, but the dishes could be emphasized more. Might have helped if there had been an old-fashioned antanae on the building on the left
(5 years and 3576 days ago)Very nice job
(5 years and 3576 days ago)I like the old one.
(5 years and 3576 days ago)Generally, the "Tea Party" is a faction of disaffected Republican Party members, mainly from the "neo-con" end of the spectrum. They advocate less government and lower taxes. However, they do not define what they mean by this. Bush instituted some "smaller government" ideas. For example, he gutted the funding for the SEC, making it almost non-existent. This led to few regulations and virtually no enforcement of Wall Street. That worked out well, didn't it? They deregulated the airlines and now they charge for everything in sight. They deregulated cable and the prices skyrocketed. BUT... it WAS less governement so I guess that makes them happy. Lower taxes? We (the US) already pays incredibly low taxes compared to most industrialized nations. Do they want less infrastructure repair (desperately needed), a smaller military, less education (we're already behind most other countries - India has more students in "honors" courses than we have total students)? Bush came into office and had been left a budget surplus by Clinton. After his first term Bush had a deficit of about $5 trillion dollars. After his second term it was almost twice that. I didn't see the Tea Partiers screaming about deficits then. It's only now, after the first Black president adds ONE trillion more bringing health care into the 21st century - and even that was deluted to make the insurance industry happy, that they get all upset. Bottom line - any group that idolizes Sarah Palin isn't going to have too much mainstream credibility.
(5 years and 3576 days ago)Nice catch. Might play with curves a little bit.
(5 years and 3576 days ago)Nice shot. I hope they raised some good cash
(5 years and 3576 days ago)Very nice. I love the facial expressions. Might bump up the contrast just a touch.
(5 years and 3576 days ago)Yes... as a matter of fact, I do.
(5 years and 3577 days ago)cool description. Thanks for the info (beautiful piece of jewelry too). Could have used a little black along the top to frame it more... a little cut-off looking.
(5 years and 3577 days ago)cool location... but, ummm... what is it that's "journalism?"
(5 years and 3577 days ago)Great idea... I agree with Ade about the contrast
(5 years and 3577 days ago)a really pretty picture... but it doesn't look that much like an "L" (IMHO)
(5 years and 3578 days ago)Gee... can't imagine why people don't take these tea baggers seriously.
(5 years and 3578 days ago)Very nice... like the tiny silhouette of the guy
(5 years and 3578 days ago)oops... you're right. Just a little of that 'ol senility kicking in.
(5 years and 3578 days ago)Pentax! (I use a K-7)
(5 years and 3578 days ago)I still use the "old" ones. The "new" ones have a coating of mercury on the inside, but they don't really advertise that when they're touting how "green" they are.
(5 years and 3578 days ago)Beautiful shot. I think I would crop some off the right and the bottom so it isn't quite so centered. But, really nice
(5 years and 3578 days ago)nice example of the Kenelly-Heavyside Effect. Salt Lake?
(5 years and 3578 days ago)My mistake. I should read the themes more closely.
(5 years and 3579 days ago)My mistake. I should read the themes more closely.
(5 years and 3579 days ago)My mistake. I should read the theme more closely
(5 years and 3579 days ago)My mistake. I should read the theme more closely.
(5 years and 3579 days ago)Very nice. I like the pattern and lighting. I think I might have removed that magazine (or whatever it is) though, as it kind of breaks the pattern. GL
(5 years and 3579 days ago)Lovely strawberries (although verging on over ripe - eat them soon), but it doesn't really show a market
(5 years and 3580 days ago)Some nice looking meat, but it doesn't really show a market
(5 years and 3580 days ago)These are beautiful, but it doesn't really show a market
(5 years and 3580 days ago)This is a nice shot of citrus, but it doesn't really show a market
(5 years and 3580 days ago)well, this isn't really a letter, it's an "ampersand," bu I guess you could say there's an "a" in it
(5 years and 3580 days ago)pretty fun. Now all we need is the Leaning Tower of Pisa
(5 years and 3580 days ago)Gulf side is nicer. (but then again, I grew up there so I'm biased)
(5 years and 3580 days ago)Could use a bit of focus
(5 years and 3580 days ago)I like the pattern created by the DOF
(5 years and 3580 days ago)Very pretty. Reminds me of where I used to live in Colorado (and we had clouds like that all the time)
(5 years and 3580 days ago)I wouldn't have thought a little fence like that could keep whales out.
(5 years and 3580 days ago)Could use some more contrast
(5 years and 3580 days ago)I always keep my windows up and hit the gas any time I'm going through Texas too
(5 years and 3580 days ago)nice. Might have worked a little more to zoom out and show some more
(5 years and 3580 days ago)More about the sign than the fence, really
(5 years and 3580 days ago)
