great shot, but not a machine, my take on the contest was that coin slots referred to machines where you put money in as payment for something or I'm sure we would have had lots of piggy banks.

When you are resizing you image in Photoshop or something similar, pay attention to your your pixel/inch count...sometimes it will default to a low number like 72ppi that will make a soft image as too may pixels get 'tossed' out...to keep an image sharper I usually stay in the 150-240 range and you ge a nice crisp hi-rez without going over the 5 MB limit

High res is now showing. The site does have a problem with physically large images that are below the 5MB size.
If you have photoshop, save to web, set the widest side to between 1400 and 1700 px and drop the quality to about 80% play with it to keep the file below 5MB.

I think this is a great concept and the lighting is good. However, he doesn't look too menacing. If he was looking straight at the camera, maybe. Also, the droopy plaid pajamas and jacket just don't go along with a threatening feel. He just looks like a nice guy going upstairs with a knife.

Looks like spomeone clapped or something. The cat's startled and the pup (very relaxed) just raised one ear. These two will be great friends. Many more great photos in the future I'm sure..
