Beautiful lighting and composition, the curve of the table at the top gently moves the eye around, and the arrangement of all the elements makes this a very pleasant viewing. I'm jealous of the teapot, it's adorable!

There's an excess of empty space on the right hand side, while you cut off the left side of the statues...It looks like you didn't know how to aim your camera...

Beautiful color and clarity, but the cut off side really lessens the impact.

good try, but it's not quite working, agree with Mossy.

Too bad about the stalks in front. They create a slight visual "barrier" to the eye, impeding the inviting path behind them. The blurry DOF compounds the stopping effect.

sushi candy that's a great idea

Some great looking candy, but I'm sure you could take a much more interesting photo of them, but I guess by now you have eaten them all.

I would have done just one or the other in the shot and possible tried it at an angle, not straight down.

Candy sushi is so cool! I think sweetened coconut is much better than rice crispies. Have you seen the Japanese kits that make candy roe?

What an AWESOME contrast! Great dock, you did a wonderful job!

I like the second one better, although there's not much more to see, the ground tells the story. In the first image, backgournd is a black cloth, in the second it's natural ground. And that gives it the realistic look, like it was Jesus hand just nailed there before they're errecting the cross. Much better.

I've always preferred outdoor, natural settings to 'studio' work. The second shot is nice, since, if one were actually there, it would be what you would see...my only suggestion for the second shot would be to have done a bit of a lower-angle shot

Both pretty good, but I guess the outdoor version is more realistic.

I have to say that I like the overall look of the first/original photo better. the surroundings are more natural in the redone one but the lighting isn't as good in my opinion. Great to see someone got this started though!
