To avoid having an oval planet you must resize the original image in square before applying the "rectangular to polar" filter.
(5 years and 732 days ago)'whodathunkit' a moon and a lamp post! You surely need photographer's eyes to spot this. KUDOS to you for bringing it to us and thereby inspiring all of us to see the world around us with a different perspective and insight.
(5 years and 735 days ago)I like the coldness of blue juxtaposed with a light bulb which is usually warm, so this tricks our brains (my brain, such as it is) into seeing deeper into the photograph because we feel it as well as see it. Nice one. Top notch.
(5 years and 735 days ago)The predominantly large blackness of this shot really makes the focal point(s) jump out at us in clariy. I also think your compoistion is very good to the side like that. This image engages the viewer instantly with hot heat and cold death scene.
(5 years and 735 days ago)Much much better in high resolution.
(5 years and 735 days ago)Congrats for winning
(5 years and 747 days ago)Congrats Kyricom

(5 years and 765 days ago)Congrats Mark, 1, 2 & 3 all look very tasty Merry Christmas
(5 years and 768 days ago)Tremendous idea to change to b/w it is like an explosion for the eyes...gorgeous details well caught. This photo is a great example of when blow outs work to the advantage of the artist!
(5 years and 770 days ago)Can I come over? I don't think I have ever had Risotto....imagine that! Yum...and a nice portion too.
(5 years and 770 days ago)Oh you have such a way with food....amongst other things. I betcha you were constipated for a week following this meal. A really good picture.
(5 years and 770 days ago)OH GAWD spare me....I'm salivating like Pavlov's dogs. YUM
(5 years and 770 days ago)Nicely punched out in post processing, easy to see, easier to eat. I'm coming over.
(5 years and 770 days ago)Hmmm how horrible, the last time I molested an alligator had a bubbly time....now we can't even do that ! Harumph.
(5 years and 770 days ago)Your title says it all and marries so well with this sad sad sad picture.
(5 years and 770 days ago)I understand that after 11pm and before 5am you can do all these things?
(5 years and 772 days ago)Congrats again

(5 years and 776 days ago)giggle giggle giggle....ahhh we all walk this path just once....sigh.
(5 years and 776 days ago)Top notch action shot and look at the colour palette, it is perfect...red green and it is an autumnal day. Good eyes.
(5 years and 777 days ago)Love that determined expression on her face...nice catch, good shutter speed....the colour palette rocks.
(5 years and 777 days ago)Naw, I don't agree with cropping it more, I like that wave in the background, it makes us worry for that little surfer.
(5 years and 777 days ago)KAZAAAAM sharp as a woman's tongue, terrific photo. In our photo club, we have a Nat Geo photographer that went to Korea to do a shoot. When he came back he showed us his images and he tilted many. I think you could tilt this outta the world and it would really look fantabulous, even more!
(5 years and 777 days ago)Do you use high pass filter to get it THAT sharp. Love the fur on the one cat pouncing out at us and how the sister is only slightly diffused. Nice usage of focal ranges.
(5 years and 777 days ago)Wow you are old....and I thought you were a kid....in your heart I know. AND an artist too. I think this is a wonderful photograph showing off pencils and your work which is fantastic.
(5 years and 777 days ago)Yeah, cool...you got the patterns, the colours and you filled up the entire frame with beautiful texture to boot. My prediction for THE WINNER is........
(5 years and 777 days ago)Nice action shot, would suggest cropping out that building, slightly distracts
(5 years and 777 days ago)Nice photo this, but would suggest cropping it a bit
(5 years and 777 days ago)Awww not fair, just because she's a poor and raggedy looking church .....the photograph itself is really good. bahhhhhhhhhhhh.
(5 years and 782 days ago)Achh it is sad when they leave and their paw prints remain forever on our hearts. Yes, you caught her well, she is sharp and clear and cute in a goofball way. The fact she is looking straight at you...and us gives strength to an already strong image. Woof.
(5 years and 783 days ago)Yes, why not ? Good usage of DOF and what a pleasure to see all those colours lined up and presented to us in that slight dynamic composition. Also, your POV is quite nice, not belly button position but you crouched down ....and worked on getting the best possible view....it worked.
(5 years and 783 days ago)After scrolling through all these churches POOF along comes this one that made me giggle. Yes, a well-taken photograph, sharp and I bet if you changed this to black and white the grunge on the church wall would really pop even more. I like this, not many a person would photograph this, it takes a photographer to see beyond the photo. Thank you for this post, it made me smile.
(5 years and 783 days ago)Congrats Kyricom
