A good graphic. My only concern is the pawn is so much larger than the queen and what I assume to be a knight. IMO the pieces should be proportional to the squares.
(5 years and 2467 days ago)Congrats Loyd fabulous work, the curtain is great
(5 years and 2469 days ago)wonderful work. really good. a big well done from me
(5 years and 2469 days ago)ah wow. my favorite. I love your colouring, clean & simple scene, nice and 'catchy'. very well done.
(5 years and 2469 days ago)Indeed, well done! The only thing I dont get well is why the white fur from the cat turned out a bit bluish. Personally I'd keep it (more to) the original color of the cat source. For the rest, nice masking! Good luck!
(5 years and 2473 days ago)EDIT: imo looks better this way, author!
bravo!
(5 years and 2474 days ago)Nicely done
(5 years and 2475 days ago)The creation of the background is awesome as is the cutout of the figure with her boa and the recoloring of her dress.
(5 years and 2477 days ago)I do feel her shadow is much too strong given the light on her face, however. And stage lighting in general tries to minimize shadows. I suggest boosting the highlights on her like she's being spotlit from the right (which would make her stand out more) and then balancing the shadow intensity accordingly considering an apparently well-lit stage.
Also, the shoe reflection is too intense and I don't think it would show through the shadow.
amazing...
(5 years and 2477 days ago)Don't forget to use chamfer too, don't let the edges to be sharp like hell. Dirt map will help to make your materials more realistic, try to use it.
(5 years and 2482 days ago)Can you explain the rule of the basic teapot at this scene?
(5 years and 2482 days ago)The texture of the wall is too big, I do not saw any bump on it, the teapot has no material at all, the most realistic is the match.
Try practicing the materials, even if you have good models, if the shaders are shitty, the whole scene will be unreal.
The woman in the picture is your photo? If not you are able to use it?
(5 years and 2482 days ago)Congrats Loyd very well done
(5 years and 2483 days ago)Awesome
(5 years and 2485 days ago)very nice hihi
(5 years and 2485 days ago)I like this one a lot. Keeping ideas and themes aside, simply for the near perfect finishing in technical terms. Everything looks believable. Nice work.
(5 years and 2485 days ago)Pretty funny
(5 years and 2488 days ago)The materials at the propeller and in the tyres are incorrect, the propeller does not have any reflection, and in the tyer, is too sharp. The lights are ok. The model is good too, but that is not your work, so do not count.
(5 years and 2490 days ago)Very funny!!
(5 years and 2490 days ago)Super cool
(5 years and 2491 days ago)I find it weird when the plane looks abit blurred when the model is sharp and she is standing right next to it. I also think that you should lower the opacity of the shadow
(5 years and 2491 days ago)The material of the umbrella is quiet saturated, you could apply on it a color filter in ps, and the shadow is too sharp, watch the shadow of the moped, it is much more blurrier.
(5 years and 2492 days ago)good
(5 years and 2493 days ago)Now it's a horny bat.
(5 years and 2494 days ago)Contest guideline clearly says: "This monster should be able to be recognized as being RELATED to a real animal, but not be just a large version of it (Don't just increase the size of a rat and put it by some buildings)."
(5 years and 2494 days ago)This is just a big bat.
Awesome!
(5 years and 2495 days ago)Made me grin...good job!
(5 years and 2499 days ago)Congrats!
(5 years and 2504 days ago)Congrats!!
(5 years and 2504 days ago)Congratulations.....!
(5 years and 2504 days ago)Love the crystal ball. I think leaving a little more texture in the box would have been better - but like the clean clarity of your scene too. Good luck.
(5 years and 2505 days ago)Convincing looking animal. Good job on the blending of the horns and the color matching.
(5 years and 2507 days ago)Interesting combination of species, good matching proportions. The background could use a little blur to make the creature more standout.
(5 years and 2507 days ago)That is good, a flying iguana-bull-owl..... nice blending and colors.... good luck!
(5 years and 2508 days ago)Looks better now.... good luck!
(5 years and 2508 days ago)Haha I was waiting for someone to use the human species! I think it could use a little sharpening but Good job regardless!! GL
(5 years and 2508 days ago)Nice work. I like the choice of species and the light works well for me. Almost Rembrandt/Caravaggio-like, well done. Good luck!
(5 years and 2508 days ago)Good job author. You've made a very unique creature.
(5 years and 2509 days ago)That is a good one! Good blending and use of sources...That Mexican flag looks nice as a background. BUENA SUERTE AMIGO...!
(5 years and 2509 days ago)Black on black, foreground & background obscures a lot of the head. A better background would be one that really pops the foreground figure.
(5 years and 2509 days ago)Nice looking creature. I think I would have extended the spine down the back more, but it's a good blend.
(5 years and 2509 days ago)Sorry, what I meant regarding the wings was that they are the most noticeable in terms of image quality (that is mainly die to the source and not yourself) - I should have worded my original statement clearer...
(5 years and 2509 days ago)yes that's better GL Author
(5 years and 2510 days ago)cute, but something seems to have happened to the quality of the parrot source, it's not as sharp? - the butterfly wings are also bringing the overall picture down; but I really like the concept! Well done
(5 years and 2510 days ago)Congrats
(5 years and 2510 days ago)Congrats !!
(5 years and 2510 days ago)Congrats, Loyd!
(5 years and 2511 days ago)Congrats ...I thought from the beginning that it is a nice image....and it is....You did a good job!
(5 years and 2511 days ago)Yes you can take it to mean I like your entry :P - glad to be back!?!.... I took a long leave of absence life problems zapped my creativity and enthusiasm!! but it's all good now! looking forward to competing again!!
