If you cannot assist the author with advice on making the photo quality better, then don't say anything at all. Didn't your mother ever teach you that if you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything?

I am new to this photography stuff so I don't have lots to offer as far as advice goes. I am sure that some of the others will offer some more technical advice.

This is soooo Halloween and Autumn. Your description was perfect and I can see why you keep this. It almost looks like a semi-abstract painting!

I can see the joy and fun in it ... she looks so totally engrossed with the ball. Ah, to be that young when your whole world and all the joy in it can exist in one ordinary object! Bravo for catching this and thank you for sharing!

Nice, but i can still see different colours glowing aound the smoke, which detracts from the overall image. Also black 'streaks' which i guess are from a brush or eraser. At hi res this becomes very evident.. Sorry for the negative, but attention to detail is what i've learned while i've been here and it has helped me (still get it wrong ).. All the best GL

Sorry I left one before it, thinking that I knew who you were and I was wrong. That's really odd it disappeared....

I am not sure what was going on here but I do feel there is a story behind this! It has a sweet, tenderness to it that appeals to me.

More focus on the loose stitching would have made for a better shot but that's just IMO. (in my opinion)
