Not a power line pole....it's a light post.
(5 years and 2722 days ago)It could use a little work here and there, the idea is nice but you will get so much help on how to make your work better author! best of luck!
(5 years and 2724 days ago)No more cake for me! Or I will so much look like her
(5 years and 2724 days ago)Nice work author!
What's that thing on the right? It seems like dark grey paint, and there is also a horizontal line which doesn't fit in the middle of the image.
(5 years and 2725 days ago)Please fix source link.
(5 years and 2725 days ago)Personally, I love drop shadows on photos because it makes the pictures look funky, but in photoshop contests it's a bit of a no no good fix and great improvement Good LUCK!!!
(5 years and 2725 days ago)There shouldn't be a drop shadow at all on the wicker layer at left. Remove the drop shadow on the sky, keep the snake shadow on the wicker, but blur it.
(5 years and 2726 days ago)poor dog
(5 years and 2726 days ago)Congrats!!
(5 years and 2726 days ago)Congrats!!
(5 years and 2726 days ago)Congrats on 2nd place
(5 years and 2726 days ago)Congrats Donatella. Well done, brava!
(5 years and 2726 days ago)When using a drop shadow on an image (the snake) that will be placed over a Close object and a faraway object (In this case the Wicker (Close) and Water (Faraway) duplicate the layer and give the drop shadow to the under layer. Then ERASE parts of the under layer to remove the drop shadow that has fallen on the water Background. IMHO it would improve the image.
(5 years and 2726 days ago)The snake should only cast a shadow on the wicker and NOT cast a shadow on the sky behind itself. (Also the wicker casting shadow on the lower right should be eliminated also.
Just a suggestion, nice idea for a chop and good luck
nice 3D effect
(5 years and 2727 days ago)Take care of the title, it is "Crema Catalana". You wrote it wrong.
(5 years and 2730 days ago)Very original, smart thought. Good luck author
(5 years and 2730 days ago)Sorry, I meant with the opener at the top facing down. Just my opinion. Hopefully someone else might comment.
(5 years and 2730 days ago)I think I might rotate it vertically. IMO. Good lighting.
(5 years and 2730 days ago)Perhaps in between the pictures, it's all about your creativity.
(5 years and 2731 days ago)Very cool image. Nice work.
(5 years and 2731 days ago)Easy but nice. In my opinion, I think that by adding some light effects the outcome could be better, or more competitive.
(5 years and 2731 days ago)IMO you can crop a little the upper-left side to get the rule of thirds on the main subject...in this case, you know what I mean!
(5 years and 2732 days ago)There's also a mistake in the title, it should be "playing cards", you missed the vocal "i". Take care.
(5 years and 2732 days ago)Lovely! I mean really lovely!
(5 years and 2733 days ago)Congrats for 1st Donatella. Nice entry
(5 years and 2733 days ago)Great shot. Congrats
(5 years and 2733 days ago)original picture author, GL
(5 years and 2734 days ago)Good effect and colors, perhaps a little more contrast, but certainly a good shot...
(5 years and 2734 days ago)Great composing and good textures. Well done and good luck
(5 years and 2734 days ago)IMO, The dog on the queen of spades could be improved, it's not so recognizable, I had to check the SBS to see what it is, whilst, one of the king's face should be at least flipped horizontally, just like the original one!
(5 years and 2734 days ago)lovely like the colours
(5 years and 2734 days ago)Nice one
(5 years and 2734 days ago)I've done the spheres before, but not textured like this. Looks like either clipping mask or displacement.
(5 years and 2737 days ago)Like this very much. "Mi piace molto" Very creative and abstract use of source.
(5 years and 2738 days ago)Thanks for that explanation, makes all the difference. Love the background, make sit look all hot and smoky
(5 years and 2738 days ago)Lovely Texture work, very nice image
(5 years and 2738 days ago)Oh. OK.
(5 years and 2738 days ago)I love this kind of thing.
(5 years and 2739 days ago)This is a cool shot, but they look more like pliers or something than a cutting blade
(5 years and 2739 days ago)Nice shot, but I'm not sure the emphasis is on the hole
(5 years and 2739 days ago)very nice
(5 years and 2739 days ago)Nice work all round, nice finish, lovely SBS
(5 years and 2739 days ago)no, my friend, not the shadow, the blur that is at the bottom left of the balls of snow. indeed the shadow would be the same direction as your light source, so it should be on the bottom right. the motion blur is going to be at the top because that is the direction of travel. think of it this way, an object isn't going to leave a trail where it hasn't been yet. i hope that makes sense. good luck!
(5 years and 2740 days ago)nice
(5 years and 2740 days ago)great photo
(5 years and 2740 days ago)the motion blur is from the wrong angle, this makes it look as thought the "snow is coming up from the ground... ;] good luck!
(5 years and 2741 days ago)Beautiful, clear focus. Nice work!
(5 years and 2741 days ago)Nicely done, pretty and soothing colors.
(5 years and 2741 days ago)Stunning result. Very professional looking. I would expect to see something like this in a travel magazine.
(5 years and 2741 days ago)bravo..
