I asked a question, and considering the extreme "similarity," what better way to "check my facts," than asking???
As for "next time" author, you can rest assured that I will just as quickly ask if I have a question, or if an image is as similar to one already published, as that can give someone an unfair advantage, which we wouldn't want, now would we???

This is also an EXCELLENT argument for why Contest Source Photos should be properly credited, since contest entry source photos have to be properly credited...Contest photos posted by Pxleyes are NEVER clearly attributed to the photographer, which is exactly how such questions regarding anonymity can arise...

Is this one of those "traveling rocks" in Death Valley? Those things are cool!

What are the multiple spots in the middle? Are they some type of lens flare? I've never seen one in that pattern before.
I love the patterns in the dunes, and the overall composition is wonderful, but those spots are weird.

Great capture. I think you could crop a bit of all the dead space on the sides off, but the magic of this image still comes across well.

I especially like the way the middle finger, which is essentially blocking the light, shows a bit of glow through the skin at the tip, and is framed by the hand at its base.

I have to agree - to me, food is about colour and texture and although this sounds really awesome, it needs the colour to kick it off

No real attraction in B&W - It doesn't do cannoli justice. Half the joy of food is the visual, with color an important part. Make it all B&W, and you take away the visual flavor...
