Glad you entered this Author...although you say it lacks the 'typical wow factor", I really enjoy the image as it is. It's a different approach, but, in the case of this image, and it's desired look....I think it works well. Good Luck!

I honestly have to say I like the original better because it is "softer" but some people like the harsher, more colorful sky like you have. This must be a popular vacation destination?

Nicely done author...I still need to try this technique, but my timing is terrible, when I have the time, the conditions suck for such a shot, when the conditions are good, I don't have the time to get to an interesting location. Very interesting entry indeed.
