The crooked horizon makes the positioning of the animal look really weird.
It would also look better if either the entire thing was spotted like the legs, or the legs were unspotted to match the rest of the animal for visual consistency.

Skewing the horizon of the source pic even more doesn't work.

Your original background source is pretty hi-res, but in your entry it's very grainy (About the same res as your figure's pic, actually). Try some surface blur or something, because it reduces the appeal of what would otherwise be a great image.

this is spectacular dude. you managed to make a beatiful composition with basiclly only two source images and matched the sepia face in there perfectlly. the lighting is great as well...kudos

The lighting is too dark and inconsistent. What light source illuminates her hair and face so much, yet everything else she's wearing is matte black except for the tiny buttons? Moody is one thing, but the lighting needs to have some small modicum of realism...

Since the shark is bitting her already (blood on the shark's mouth) the teeth should be on her flesh or then ehr flesh should have some markings. Good luck.

Pretty good, but I'm not sure about the way the bottom of the eye cuts across the bridge of the nose, and I'd try to make the eyebrow symmetrical.

You can still clearly make out the indentations of the eye sockets in the skull. You need to fill those in more (Try the Liquify Bloat Tool), and create a single eye socket in the skull to surround the new eye.

VERY cool, but it's beyond WPAP to me (which is not a bad thing but exceeds the boundaries of this contest). I observe that the hairline shadows make the hair look like a wig.
