lol! dont know if it is rising or falling, no hires so i cant see that much detail here. it almost seems there is a bubble directly over the indent, but hard to tell. i would really like to see the hires.

well, just my two cents... the insects around the light are a bit too many, imo. the light is too high to cast the shadow as is. that is just math. but... the chop is wonderful! i like the mood and the composition. on a side note, i usually find that their observations are accurate and they have a great technical knowledge. and... any comment is much better than none at all... just my opinion.

well... the red on the knee is what drew my attention, yeah the wig too. but... i dont find this really sexy as much as "it" wants to be sexy. it could be improved by losing the sign, moving the hair from the face so much and ... well... making the knee look less... er... uh... used

ok, but the contest says that you have to expect to find something there that it is empty of. so... what did you expect to find that is no longer there? what you say, that everything is "in place" would indicate that nothing is gone, it is not empty of anything.

there was nothing in it or on it that is no longer in it or on it. imo - ot. it is not about feelings, but about empty things. the examples are a box that is empty or a parking lot that is empty. what did you expect to see there that is no longer there?

ah, but the contest says "If there is some kind of subject you might expect to have something in it (or on it, etc.), but shows the viewer that it's empty, it is on theme." the path could be expected to have people about and they are not there, so it is on theme as the specifications for the contest are written. this contest is not really ambiguous, it is in fact very specific. if someone/something MIGHT be in it and they/it are not, then it is empty. the example of a parking lot would relate very well to a path.

it is a good shot, or i think so, if i saw it in hires maybe, but the contest says "...might expect to have something in it..." i would not really expect to find anything else here. it pretty much has exactly what i would expect to see
