Funny idea . SBS looks good, maybe here and there you can make the masks a bit more smooth. Good luck!
(5 years and 2319 days ago)Now the eyes match...that was a key element. Much better.
(5 years and 2327 days ago)One day at a time and we all start somewhere, good luck author Using the Dodge and Burn tools are very hard, and have a bazillion settings, but it's very nice to see the effort
(5 years and 2327 days ago)My comment was indeed meant as a joke. Sorry if you were offended.
(5 years and 2328 days ago)Author, although challenging and certainly old, perhaps your chosen source is too lined and too gritty-looking to effectively convert the face to a younger age without over-processing it beyond human appearance. The overly-illustrative quality of your work is too jarring to be against the real photo, split-screen style. In addition to benefiting from skin textures with shadows and light, the drawn character should (but does not even) retain the original eye color, and the entire drawing raised up a few pixels to provide more symmetry with the physical features on the photo side. Although I say basically the same thing as CMYK46, hope you are not as sensitive to this comment.
(5 years and 2328 days ago)good job CMYK
(5 years and 2328 days ago)25 years earlier he was a cartoon...?
(5 years and 2329 days ago)Red on red loses depth, and the white rectangle from the window behind the car interferes with the car's roof line.
(5 years and 2333 days ago)Congrats!!
(5 years and 2336 days ago)The R is not easy to read... Looks like a mushroom.
(5 years and 2338 days ago)But they all do look delicious!
Congrats!!
(5 years and 2339 days ago)The background ellipse is not working for me. The different spacing between each letter is also disturbing.
(5 years and 2342 days ago)I do like the cookie-letter idea, however. Maybe a more-compact logo with overlapping letters on varying baselines would be more compelling.
I look forward to seeing the revised version! Full color would set off the gold nicely. Check out some gold statues on Google Image Search to help you out.
(5 years and 2347 days ago)I much prefer the full figure cropping as in step 10 in your SBS. It's a much better composition than what you have now although I would desaturate the sepia tone it's a bit too strong IMHO. I like the base you created but the statue is monochromatic and doesn't match. Having a background that is also monochromatic but in blue doesn't work too well I feel. A normal full color piece would work better IMO. Be cautious over doing filter work, you may not need as much as you have used.
(5 years and 2347 days ago)Congrats!
(5 years and 2349 days ago)Congrats!!
(5 years and 2349 days ago)Congrats
(5 years and 2349 days ago)Congrats magicalfruittuts nicely done
(5 years and 2349 days ago)Congrats
(5 years and 2349 days ago)Ahem...try a fish.
(5 years and 2357 days ago)The rabbit looks fake. Try a fish.
(5 years and 2357 days ago)You did a good job restoring the dress but maybe you should put it more in perspective and use the warp tool to give it a more natural flow. Towards the right site it starts looking cloned more and more.
(5 years and 2369 days ago)I also feel taking the background out wasn't a good idea, the boy and girl seem to float now and the mask lines surrounding are harsh. Adding a slight shadow will solve the floating and using a small soft blur brush on a new top layer (select use all layers) then going over the mask lines will blend the object better with the background.
There's still enough time to make adjustments
The only color i see is the dress on the lil one. Sorry
(5 years and 2369 days ago)Congrats!
(5 years and 2371 days ago)I think the issue is the clock. From our perspective, we shouldn't be able to see more of the top-left rim than the bottom-right rim.
(5 years and 2371 days ago)Rotate the shoes about 30 degrees counter clockwise to get the perspective right and you'll have a good image.
(5 years and 2375 days ago)Congrats!!
(5 years and 2378 days ago)The contest theme is "The End of the World"...my comment actually was helpful. The theme isn't "Blow up a ball park". And we're all trying to improve our skills, but we're trying to do it on theme. You have plenty of time to revise & resubmit. You might also want to come up with a title for your image.
(5 years and 2382 days ago)So you blew up a ball park...it's not exactly the end of the world, ya know?
(5 years and 2382 days ago)(It wasn't even done that well).
Isn't this just a picture of Wrigley Field every year at play-off time?
(5 years and 2382 days ago)Blur the pixelated edges and you'll have a good image. GL author.
(5 years and 2403 days ago)Mostly better now, but not quite.
(5 years and 2404 days ago)Good concept, but slightly misaligned.
(5 years and 2404 days ago)Now the shadow is even more wrong. The light is from upper left. Please use the shadows on the house as reference for the light source.
(5 years and 2416 days ago)Wrong shadow on bike. The shadows on the wall provide the correct light source.
(5 years and 2416 days ago)Nice idea! The bowl wouldn't be casting a shadow backwards though.
(5 years and 2418 days ago)LOL! Nice play on words. Well done.
(5 years and 2423 days ago)Pretty funny idea author
(5 years and 2428 days ago)Awww, cute!
(5 years and 2457 days ago)Please fix link 3.
(5 years and 2460 days ago)cooooool .....
(5 years and 2462 days ago)Your idea may work better when you have a real extreme sharp image of a bee, so it's more obvious that you focus on that. Right now it looks a bit too cut out imo. Good luck!
(5 years and 2475 days ago)I'm sorry author....But I think her hair is too big than her head.
(5 years and 2482 days ago)You must turn down the scale of it.
Good idea & good source finds.
(5 years and 2482 days ago)nice work but adjust the perspective of the window. try by fliping it
(5 years and 2482 days ago)Not bad, but look at the lighting on the source pic & adjust your shadows accordingly. You might consider reducing the amount of empty space around the figure, too.
(5 years and 2491 days ago)great idea!
