Pretty good. I would have removed whatever that goober is on the left side of the mouth. I'm sure you can easily find another eye rather than use a pre manipulated image. Good luck.

To me, this looks more like a mildly edgy pose than a couple. Better matching of the skin tones/textures would not change that fundamental fact.

Try working on the fir, especially around the edges. Also the color of the pattern, maybe if it were a little more vibrant and the blending mode that you used you might want to reconsider. Good idea, but maybe work on it a bit.
