it was really hard to think of something original and at the same time to fit the poppies in the image. in the end, i thought that creating a nice contrast with the red will be a good choice. my new graphic tablet was very useful in order to make the shadows and the lightings. A simple one.. Wid tattoos... Played around wid some brushes. Enhanced the image quality by applying some curves and brought up a HDR look by using the image enhancements.

layered in cut-out from my photo of a baby Quaker Parrot, which I had "tinted" blue. Cloned more background and blanket around the baby bird and did some shadow work where the bird's beak meets the foot.

Thanks to Falln-Stock for the smoke brushes. For the background, I used an image that was once used for a contest - "Forest Sunrays". I had it in my computer, but couldn't find it on the internet, so I posted it in the SBS.
