Wow, amazing texture and colours in this close up. Were you quite close or was this done with a zoom lens?

I like the subject matter but the picture itself is kinda soft. I'd sharpen it a bit and also adjust the colors and contrast (it looks a bit washed out). This has lots of potential and even as it stands I like it. All the best!
