I can see the thought behind this image of course given the deadly notoriety this innocent office / home implement has taken on. However is it a "weapon" as such? If it is, then "offices" in which dozens of these are normally found can also be called "arsenals"?

Next time you set up a composition be careful with some small details f.e
The corner of he table on the left side of your frame.
It would be better if the "horizon" was across the background (would be technically correct).
All so include the top & the bottom of the pills pile IMHO.

A great idea, but it could have been better arranged, A little more light on the subject would also help.

Author, your photo is on theme, but could be improved.
Photographing against the light is always difficult, using a fill in flash is probably the best option for spur of the moment snaps, can be used even when you are in front of a window, you just need to move so you are at an angle to the window to avoid the flash reflecting.
Use of flash would also allow you a smaller f-stop, so you would get a sharper photo and the ISO would be lower, giving much less noise.
This does look like you have arrange the photo, so a tripod and extra light would have been much better.
