If it weren't for the clouds, it would have been the number one lunar, or anyhow extraterrestrial landscape. And no, I'm not getting judgmental or anything, for goodness sake! This is a great picture. I'm just saying...

I agree with Jerostone. For this contest (with those rules) the bird might have been shot in another spot with another background, which is in conflict with what is written in the contest rules.

Maybe some closer cropping would have made it more on theme. Even blurry, the element of the sea is more than evident in the picture, but then again IMHO

If the water was more in focus, this would be off theme. It appears the author is focusing on the wet seagull.

I like that you shot at the horses eye level and framed tight. I take in that the lower quality is do to poor lighting in the barn.

I like the lighting, but the image quality is low and there is a lot of blur in the photo.
