Nice work. Good use of a secondary light source to illuminate the scene.
(5 years and 2976 days ago)Good idea and nicely constructed, author.
(5 years and 2978 days ago)yepper.. definitely lemmings.. the squish splash is very funny!
(5 years and 2981 days ago)lemmings :P
(5 years and 2981 days ago)the mountains are those giant confections you get from the Cuban bakery markets here in southern Florida.. ugh.. I could eat 10 in a sitting with LOADS of butter LOL... more color variation would have been a route of experimentation, but it wouldn't stop me from nibbling on the road LOL.. good luck
(5 years and 2984 days ago)Nice scrumptious scene, well designed, author.
(5 years and 2985 days ago)Cool effect
(5 years and 3002 days ago)nice idea and good work like it
(5 years and 3012 days ago)best luck
Love the colors and details in this one!
(5 years and 3020 days ago)this is very beautiful work author
(5 years and 3020 days ago)great color balance
good luck
very nice author
(5 years and 3020 days ago)looks cool
Nice one, yes. I agree with WYSIWYG about the sweater. Blue is a bit too dominant imo, while it has no important role. If you can crop the image on the lower part (i.e. remove a 3rd from the sweater) the balance in the image would increase. Good luck!
(5 years and 3022 days ago)really like this one, would only take away a bit more from the sweater.
(5 years and 3022 days ago)Great style
this is very good, love the bright colors and the colors mix well with each other. I also like you mixture of shapes and sizes you choose .well done. The composition is also very good and your shapes carry it out all through the image.
(5 years and 3024 days ago)I love the colors and work of Art!
(5 years and 3048 days ago)good work gl author..!!
(5 years and 3050 days ago)the motion-blur background makes the "mountain" edges look too sharp..
(5 years and 3051 days ago)suggest feather the mountain selection then "delete" for better edges.
lighten the shadow-areas of the mountain alittle...
er, don't be angry if i suggest this... if possible, change background to a more natural sky other than the "motion-blur" thing
Good except for light sources & shadows.
(5 years and 3051 days ago)Very original concept. Well done!
(5 years and 3051 days ago)this is very enjoyable, if you could some how define the reclining female in the back more (burn and dodge) she doesn't stand out well enough for me.. but that could just be me.. very good idea and great concept (love the tree eyeballs ALOT) GOOD LUCK
(5 years and 3051 days ago)Your improvements are subtle yet they make a significant difference. Best of luck!
(5 years and 3055 days ago)Very well done!!! Lovely image!
(5 years and 3056 days ago)Great composition,good luck author !
(5 years and 3057 days ago)fantastic scene author...best of luck
(5 years and 3057 days ago)I really like this, too. It looks like it could be a scene from Frog and Toad stories, or Wind in the Willows. The frog looks like he has real weight on the shoe. Great job with that shadow there!
(5 years and 3057 days ago)Just a couple of observations: wouldn't there be a reflection on the surface of the water of the shoe and the critters (maybe even some moonlight) like there is for the rocks in the center-right? Also, I don't think the "oar" would have that kind of drop shadow on the water surface. Wouldn't it be a reflection rather than a shadow, and somewhat rippled? One final observation: the moon should be solid. It can be dim if you like, but drifting clouds would pass in front it, not through or behind it.
I like this a lot Just a small nitpick ..there is too much luminosity rupture between the frog and the lizard..frog is just too bright imo...darkening the background, adding lantern at the back of the shoe (will match the lightning sources then) and little dodge and burn can make this image awesome..love how you blend the shoe in to the water though..anyway.. fav. from me
(5 years and 3057 days ago)fantastic work author
(5 years and 3057 days ago)Great image, it tells a story!
(5 years and 3057 days ago)Good blend & composition...GL author!
(5 years and 3057 days ago)really nice blending job. good luck.
(5 years and 3063 days ago)blending is ok. the head can be smaller and have to improve the "butt" (make it more pointy than lumpy)
(5 years and 3068 days ago)hehehe, really great thinking good luck author
(5 years and 3068 days ago)Hope all aliens look so cute and friendly
(5 years and 3068 days ago)I love these kinda of pictures,uh finally sees what I like,,but It looks better without the baby haha..I know it's the main purpose of your work..but that's what i think..
(5 years and 3068 days ago)Very sweet ... love the look on their faces ....ohhhh!
(5 years and 3069 days ago)They are so cute that I just want to eat them )
(5 years and 3072 days ago)it's very "a-peeling" can I squash them and drink some juice? just one, please?
(5 years and 3073 days ago)Very imaginative and well done!
(5 years and 3073 days ago)Super duper CUTE!!!
(5 years and 3073 days ago)poor baby...
(5 years and 3076 days ago)Entries on Pxleyes are considered "not for profit" so there is no capital gain from the trademarks nor should there be any inferred endorsement by the logo/trademark holder. Logos and trademarks are everywhere, if you take a picture of a street scene with a MacDonald's in the photo you aren't violating any copyright laws by posting that image. The determination is based on the intent of the image. In the case of the shoe with the Nike logo, if a character in the background photo is wearing the shoes that's incidental and not the main focus, but if you did a chop with shoe and logo as the focal point it could be seen as an inferred endorsement or considered derogatory or mistaken for a promotion by Nike without their consent. It's best to avoid Logos and trademarks in your work to keep things simple but don't freak out if there's a McD's in your street scene background. If you have any doubts you can contact a mod for advice.
(5 years and 3077 days ago)Funny, but the sheep on the RH side look somewhat "pink" compared to the other sheep. You might try slightly desaturating the reds and lightening the master color for that particular layer from source 4.
(5 years and 3080 days ago)You will probably also want to find another football image to use. Although the photographer on Flickr, Ed Yourdon has it available, as ALL NFL team logos are copyright and trademarked to the NFL, which forbids any redistribution or publication of their property without express written consent...
It looks MUCH more realistic. Nice changes!
(5 years and 3081 days ago)Author, if you apply about 5% of Cooling Filter 82 (Image>Adjustments>Color Filter), you will help get the adjustment for the skin tones and clothing that you need - The baby is too warm toned for the image.
(5 years and 3081 days ago)The baby is also too large for its position within the picture. The head is almost as large as the head of the soldier, but he is much closer to the viewer than the baby. If you scale the baby down by about 10% (Edit>Transform>Scale, type in 90% for height and width), you will bring it into better proportion for the image.
You may also want to sparingly use the Dodge tool on the top back of the baby's head to reflect the strong sunlight.
Hope this helps, it's a good concept!
Hi Author, I love how you trying to balance the images with the SBS provided. It's great with so many experiments already. Love it! But one distracting thing is the hand of the baby (right side of the image) looks so bright... or it's just my monitor screen??
(5 years and 3081 days ago)Hi there, I thought the baby's too bright. =D
(5 years and 3082 days ago)My suggestions, you could try to reduce the tone of the baby with a little levels adjustments or curves or exposures. And try to color balancing the whole part of your scene with Photo Filters or just play with the channels.
Good luck! Poor baby! Lol!
Nice work. Waiting for the SBS. From what I see now her right arm would have to be way too long.
(5 years and 3085 days ago)Great work!
(5 years and 3090 days ago)Cool, soon I'll need the blue guy to paint my door
