...just an added note to the author...Showing the steps you took in an SBS will help voters to judge your work more accurately. Looking through your sources I realize you used a ton of work on this image... the added filter to merge at the end made this into a Painting and not really a photo...not a bad thing per se but something to consider in photoshop competition. I personally really enjoy the filter effect and this image would be awesome as a decoration in a firefighter's home or a Fire House in a second.

Filters are often thought of as simple ways of manipulating a photo and are often reviled in photoshop competition. (Believe you me hehehe). But in review of all your sources and the definite effort you placed into this chop, I find the finished product intriguing. Good luck and I hope to see more of your work
Author, when placing your sources, the first slot is for the "LINK" and the second slot is for a THANK YOU to the source (works well with Flickr/Deviant Art when the artist wishes to be acknowledged that it is their photo) or for explaining where the photo was used in the chop. (Makes it less of a head ache for the mods, I'm sure.) It's a pretty easy peasy fix great idea all around
(5 years and 1473 days ago)Author, you're placing source links in the area used for text. Use the other box.
(5 years and 1474 days ago)That is ok, but I really do not go for that filter effect...kind of distracting....
(5 years and 1476 days ago)Nicely done. You followed the theme and used good acceptable sources! I even see a bit of a Droste effect (picture within a picture).
(5 years and 1478 days ago)Very haunting image. Right to the point. I really like it
(5 years and 1479 days ago)Good composition, but too filter heavy for my taste.
