Idea is good, but for a building, it's really interesting if you put doors and windows as said before. Now, it's just a fruit.

Cool idea that brings to mind the gherkin in London. Nevertheless, a building (as opposed to an illuminated reflecting-pool sculpture, for example) would probably be truly vertical and would certainly have (human-scale) windows and an entrance..

Foreground penguins are distorted...would be good to see a SBS to see how you made the ice effect, which is nicely done.

The edges of things, especially the trees and the building, are a little crude and fuzzy. But the picture is otherwise awesome. Fix that, and you got a high vote from me.

The [contest] source gets lost because it's not as crisp/sharp as the other elements which diminishes the impact of the (otherwise intriguing) image overall IMO.
