(5 years and 2885 days ago)Peace and quiet, beautiful
(5 years and 2886 days ago)Lovely, but I think I would lighten it a little.
(5 years and 2886 days ago)Love this, so reminds me of where I grew up.
(5 years and 2886 days ago)oh wow i took a simulair kind of picture last eyar and i still love the effect of it.. very nice picture you got here we havent got snow yet this year
(5 years and 2886 days ago)well done
(5 years and 2887 days ago)Nice shot... I was thinking of this title, but couldn't think of a way to connote an acid trip
(5 years and 2887 days ago)Or, it could be tall/short
(5 years and 2887 days ago)very fanny
(5 years and 2888 days ago)very good, original
(5 years and 2888 days ago)Nice take on the theme.
(5 years and 2889 days ago)Agreed i believe the B&W really bring out the patterns
(5 years and 2893 days ago)Very creative idea author! tough crowd ut i think id call these pyramids but that's just me
(5 years and 2893 days ago)what ever then red flag this entry and move on according to the dang rules.
(5 years and 2894 days ago)Good luck to you Author.
Pyramids can have an infinite number of sides. And one of of the sides is the bottom. It is not the polygon that is created by cutting off the top. At least that is what 2 1/2 years of geometric topography at Ohio State taught me.
(5 years and 2894 days ago)meatman you would do well to read rule 3.7
(5 years and 2894 days ago)This is a mods decision.
You already made your point with your first comment.
pyramids do have 4 sides btw
Lovely tones.
(5 years and 2894 days ago)And even if the ends were not cut off, the base's would be round. lol. a no-win situation
(5 years and 2894 days ago)The fact that the ends are cut off makes them 4 sided, not triangular. I'm with you, meatman.
(5 years and 2894 days ago)Not on theme. IMO these are not pyramids. They are just sharpened stakes that have had the ends cut off.
(5 years and 2894 days ago)Lovely
(5 years and 2894 days ago)Congrats on first, well deserved!
(5 years and 2896 days ago)this is very dramatic with great angles and tones
(5 years and 2902 days ago)brava
(5 years and 2904 days ago)Beautiful, well done
(5 years and 2904 days ago)I agree with Vibeke... but it's a cute dog - like his shades
(5 years and 2904 days ago)Wish you had been a little closer.
(5 years and 2905 days ago)Wonderful shot, did you set it up?
(5 years and 2905 days ago)So original.
(5 years and 2906 days ago)Shouldn't your title read "Silver and Gold?"
(5 years and 2906 days ago)very good
(5 years and 2956 days ago)Very nice. Wish you had a little more at the top so the top of the mountain wasn't cut off
(5 years and 2958 days ago)Looks great in High Res.
(5 years and 2958 days ago)Great image. If anything i wish it was a little closer to the pier to see some of the details.
(5 years and 2961 days ago)Gorgeous - love the colour of the water. I agree with Friiskiwi about the highlights but it is easy to improve with a levels adjustment. (it wont recover detail though so you're best exposing for the highlights when hitting the 'trigger' button
(5 years and 2962 days ago)Great shot overall, but I don't know how much of the focus is really on the pier.
(5 years and 2962 days ago)What an idyllic looking place. I do feel that the whole image is too light, especially the highlights. If you have time, try to re-process the image. The pier is pretty small in the image, but that could be said for other entries too.
(5 years and 2963 days ago)Ha! This one puts a smile on my face!
(5 years and 2963 days ago)You could have done some wonderful things with that carving and setting.
(5 years and 2976 days ago)That is a lot of carvings, but it doesn't make for a very exciting photograph. You would have done better to just concentrate on one of the carvings.
(5 years and 2976 days ago)good one !
(5 years and 2989 days ago)great find
(5 years and 2995 days ago)How unusual! Where is this, and is it indoors or out?
(5 years and 2995 days ago)Is the man in the background taking a photo for Pxleyes, too?
Lovely photograph of a fruit market, but the people are really lost, and they should be the main subject for this contest.
(5 years and 2996 days ago)The focal point of your waiting line is overshadowed by the fruit, which dominates the image, making it the focal point of this image. If you cropped off most of the fruit display, centering in on the people, then they would be your focal point.
(5 years and 2996 days ago)Crazy angles! Great capture!
(5 years and 2998 days ago)Reminds me of that commercial with the happy cows from California = )
(5 years and 3157 days ago)agreed, great shot though
(5 years and 3157 days ago)I love this! excellent entry!
