I agree with CMYK46. IMO the drop shadow tool will diminish a great pic. Paint your shadows..you will have more control of where they lie and look more natural. For the hard hand edge, just make a second hand layer, Gaussian blur bottom layer, (about 30%). then take your eraser (50%) and erase only bits of the edges creating foreshortening. Same with table edge. I love Dali btw

I really like everything about this except shadows (their not consistent or some non-existent)and the flatness of the glasses... May I suggest not to use the drop shadow as a shadow but rather a pre shadow. turn opacity way down and change colour to a more fleshy brown colour and lessen the distance. the distance you have for the glasses on his face would be a few inches from his face. next burn-shadow-mid tone on the mans actual face with strength turned down.
