Patty, would you please review , I would love to learn from you and your take on how to see the world around us. Thank you for speaking to me.
(5 years and 676 days ago)Patty, I just put both my hands on either side of your photo...to the pillars, but keep the two women in....do this and see what happens! I really liked this shot...makes me want to go there.
(5 years and 676 days ago)Centered well, those two black draped women add so much mystery, great catch.
(5 years and 677 days ago)purrrrfect for mood, clarity, colour palette, technical expertise shown...this is grrrrrrrrreat.
(5 years and 677 days ago)I looked up Badia and now know where it is . Thank you. Nice rural photograph, sharp and crisp with consideration given to compositional style and keeping that fence in the frame was a nice way to hold our eye in this work.
(5 years and 677 days ago)You even caught some magical shadows that bring good depth to this shot. It is rural, unpretentious solid photography that breathes rural and we get absorbed by it. Lovely.
(5 years and 677 days ago)Bahhh...it's rural enough for me. Great pull on the eye..
(5 years and 677 days ago)your welcome
(5 years and 680 days ago)Yes think the road/car slightly take away the rural nature of the shot in what other wise is a good photo, using the animals in the scenery does add a nice rural scene.
(5 years and 680 days ago)Talk about good dof in this and the use of the 3 elements of sky/mountains and greenery adds a nice contrast, good one
(5 years and 680 days ago)Interesting building this, just wonder if this had been more of a vertical shot this would have been stronger,by eleminating a tad either side, good idea to use the figures might just have waited a couple of seconds to get them a bit nearer, but still like it
(5 years and 680 days ago)Ah! Tuscany I assume with the lines of trees. Lovely shot - great sense of space due to the height and looking down. I also like that the colours are a little subdued not over saturated.
(5 years and 680 days ago)Moody atmosphere to this shot. I like the light catching the trees. Would the shot be better with the road cropped out. Might that give the scene a more 'remote' feel.
(5 years and 680 days ago)nice DOF and bokeh
(5 years and 733 days ago)I like the mood caught, well balanced too.
(5 years and 747 days ago)Congrats Patty

(5 years and 817 days ago)Thanks for changing the image
(5 years and 826 days ago)goal:
(5 years and 826 days ago)You could include the stem and leaves, or just concentrate on the bloom. It might be a bud, a full blossom, or anywhere in-between, but having more than one will make your entry off them.
Lots of buds in this photo.
It's not a bee but an Episyrphus balteatus, sometimes called the marmalade hoverfly.
(5 years and 827 days ago)okay
(5 years and 832 days ago)Excellent nature photo
(5 years and 832 days ago)Author, can you please tell us the story behind this photo.
(5 years and 840 days ago)Very nice shot for DOF
(5 years and 929 days ago)I can see you walking here and spotting this scene and using your artistic streak to come up with this image. I really like it because it is dreamy, the background is like a dreamscape.
(5 years and 930 days ago)Ahhh this says it all . Beautifully laid out, artistically placed photographic elements of that magic number 3. Simple, classy top notch. Congratulations this is simple and strong.
(5 years and 930 days ago)beautiful

(5 years and 952 days ago)Nice picture, I personally cropped left to make disappear the end of the railing that does not bring so much.
(5 years and 952 days ago)Congratulations on 1st one Patty!
(5 years and 977 days ago)Well done for winning this one
(5 years and 977 days ago)Congratulations on 1st place.
(5 years and 977 days ago)Congrats Patty, really lovely
(5 years and 977 days ago)stunning
(5 years and 984 days ago)Very nice
(5 years and 985 days ago)This is a very warm and mellow image bringing forth a warm and fuzzy feeling within us. I would suggest a small crop down to eliminate the contrails, can you see how our eyes float up there, and then out of the shot? You want to keep the viewer in your photo without distractions. The honey colour is splendid as is the story.
(5 years and 986 days ago)Yup yup yup much better.
(5 years and 986 days ago)I better not disclose any secrets, ha ha ha.
(5 years and 986 days ago)Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm how did you know it was me?
