All very nice, but I especially like the treatment you gave to the 'mounting board' behind the skull. Nice colors, too.
(5 years and 3343 days ago)Andy Warhol strikes again!
(5 years and 3343 days ago)definitely worth an 'awwww'.....
(5 years and 3343 days ago)Very nice! clever texturing on the monkey.
(5 years and 3343 days ago)Great concept and execution, love the "fire within" and the mist.
(5 years and 3343 days ago)Great job, lots of fun!
(5 years and 3343 days ago)Very nice work, I like the combination of painting with the source images. Happy Halloween!
(5 years and 3343 days ago)congrats, dude!
(5 years and 3345 days ago)congrats!
(5 years and 3348 days ago)Great painting of the sunset sky, you captured the mood beautifully.
(5 years and 3348 days ago)Incredible work on this! Very cool end image.
(5 years and 3349 days ago)Great job on the repair, so nice you've used this image, now you can share with your family. Very sweet coloring job, still has that antique feel.
(5 years and 3349 days ago)Wow, you chose an intricate image. Aside from the surreal brightness of the grass, you did some very nice painting.
(5 years and 3349 days ago)Hooboy, she's gettin ready for a night of hot monkey-love!!!! Very good, author.
(5 years and 3349 days ago)I like the transition from BW to color, nice work and fix on the violin. And you're a musician, too!
(5 years and 3349 days ago)I love how you made the glass part of the instrument, great concept, nice work!
(5 years and 3349 days ago)This is very different, I like what you did with the violin, and the feeling of this piece, it's sort of sad and happy at the same time.
(5 years and 3349 days ago)I like this, and aside from the odd little bulge on the shadow for the closer eighth-note in the back, and different amounts of blur, I do like the addition of the string blowing in the breeze. Nice work on the notes and very pleasing image overall.
(5 years and 3349 days ago)Nice 70s touch!
(5 years and 3349 days ago)omg, a Kermit song is on the radio..... too perfect! Author, I love that you know the parts of the instrument. Love what you did with the one frog, and their formal attire. Great concept and good work on this.
(5 years and 3349 days ago)nice work.
(5 years and 3350 days ago)omg, do I DARE look at the hi-res? Fantastic work, author, and this is why I DIDN'T go for medical illustration! but you certainly could.
(5 years and 3351 days ago)Love the image, love the title! very interesting series in the sbs for final creative outcome.
(5 years and 3351 days ago)Too funny! Perfect use for puppet warp. That 'heffalump' is having some BIG fun!
(5 years and 3352 days ago)Jeez, this is really good! The flag is perfect, so are the skintones in the faces. The sky looks very real also. Dang, son, very good work!
(5 years and 3352 days ago)This is very cool, lots of great details in this. I really like the texture on the tunnel itself.
(5 years and 3353 days ago)Beautiful shot, and what a handy tripod. I remember the 'golden light' that used to backlight my dogs, it was magical.
(5 years and 3355 days ago)Precious! what an incredible shot.
(5 years and 3355 days ago)Congrats, well done.
(5 years and 3355 days ago)Love this, and great sbs, easily made into a good tutorial.
(5 years and 3355 days ago)Adorable, reminds me of an old country toy.
(5 years and 3355 days ago)Nice work, hope she is STILL your friend!
(5 years and 3355 days ago)That step 15 shape reminds me of court jester shape. LOL - ol' sausage mouth. Hope ya fried it up after you chopped it up!
(5 years and 3355 days ago)Great idea for this, cool effect for a winter greenhouse! Nicely done, author.
(5 years and 3356 days ago)LOL, I can relate - used to cry in the car on the way to swim lessons when I was little. Thanks to my parents to forcing me, though.
(5 years and 3356 days ago)Nice, it looks like it's been knitted or crocheted.
(5 years and 3356 days ago)Very creative. Never would have thought to use a brush that way, erasing part of it and adding glow. Also like those colors on the back texture.
(5 years and 3357 days ago)A bit off theme, but still hilarious! And how embarASSing for the poor donkey....
(5 years and 3357 days ago)OMG, now THAT's an odd couple!!!! LOL
(5 years and 3357 days ago)Main character work is very good, and so is the background, great work! I don't even want to guess at how many original layers this had......
(5 years and 3357 days ago)Clever use of previous source. Even without the enlarged ear, the guy on the left reminds me of Quark from Star Trek Next Generation. Nice work, author.
(5 years and 3357 days ago)Excellent idea/story, composition and blending.
(5 years and 3357 days ago)Cool idea, very nice work with the drawing addition. Great animated sbs, too.
(5 years and 3357 days ago)Very cool work, love it.
(5 years and 3357 days ago)Nice idea and work on this.
(5 years and 3357 days ago)Niiiiiiiiiice. How could I NOT like this chop?!
(5 years and 3358 days ago)That's absolutely hideous!!!! Great blend job behind those specs!!!
(5 years and 3358 days ago)OMG< this is hilarious! Nice blend and idea.
(5 years and 3358 days ago)Wow, I sure miss sculling! Author, your idea and painting are good (minus that extra finger), however unless the man is using a rowing machine, propped up on that boardwalk, then he's really out of place. A sculler who IS using those oars (usually 9 1/2' - 10' long), would be in/on the water! Also, the position of his right hand isn't quite correct, it would not be gripping the end of the oar. My suggestion is to simply change the background to water and sky only. I'll wait to vote. Check this out in hi-res: http://www.flickr.com/photos/michaelwm25/3687567372/ Nice work otherwise.
(5 years and 3358 days ago)SOOOO cool! Anything with a Blackbird gets my attention - along with your great painting and style. Good use for planet texture, nice way to make a planet from scratch. What's cooler than an SR-71 on its way to/or from a red planet?!! Veeeeerry nice work, author.
