...in the Big City. My sun sign is Taurus, and it's probably a good thing, because I've had to be a "tuff girl" - to deal with several difficult issues. But a new day is just over the horizon, and things will be better. The cobwebs signify my *ahem* age, but the watch/gears mean that I'm...

It was an age of inventions and steampowered machines of all kinds. This is one of the last Birds of Prey called upon in wartime to aid the Allies - stealth at night, faster than a speeding locomotive - always. Basic photoshop tools - warp, burn, dodge, a few layer effects and a brush. These are v...
As dozens of onlookers watched in utter shock, the magnificent statue seemed to dematerialize, and was swooped up in a w-h-o-o-s-h into what many report as the largest UFO that has come this close to the mainland. None of the people on the ground were harmed. Film at 11.

I remember the day well, we were all called to Granny and Grampa's house for the delivery. What a fine day it was, too, when the shiny brass-and-pipes-and-gauges and such was first used after the grand spring party. All Granny had to do was crank 'er up a few times, and it started, sputterin' and st...
July... hot and steamy in south Florida, and a great time to dance the night away under the swaying palm trees near the beach. I drew the triangles, added basic layer styles, drew the yellow sun bkgd. Before using the old photos in this chop, I retouched them. Please see hi-res; photo info in sb...
Basic photoshop techniques and tools used to create this image. Duplicated part of the Taj Mahal to make the 'ship', drew a shape at its side, added layer styles, used a couple of layers behind it and in front, with radial blurs. Created the sky with clouds, difference. Made several adjustment layer...

Capt. Rob: Ah, yes, the Captain ALWAYS gets the hot space chicks! Data: Captain, there is the distinct possibility that she is not who you think she is. According to my calculations... This is a real card. The original idea with a line illustration was 'floating around' (pun intended) back in the 80s and was printed in just black ink. The photo used in this card is a personal photo (just a poor quality one), and this full color version was created by me a couple of years ago....
The devil went down to South Carolina, he was lookin' fer trouble, but he wanted more and kept goin', and soon found 'imself on I-85, and he stayed on til it turned onto I-75 and before long he was in Florida... and then he got into REAL trouble... thanks, Loyd! This was indeed a collaborative effor...

A couple of textures, a couple of brushes, and the rest is drawn and painted in photoshop. Yes, I know it's weird, but it was a fun chop. ;-)

The texture of the piling caught my attention, and I've used it on the rocket and for the planet, as well as a smaller version in the foreground.

I found him - the King is very much alive! He's even lost all those extra pounds, in spite of being around his very favorite foods since he gave up the concert tours. He looks pretty good, too, but hey, he had some 'work done', if ya know what I mean. I got one of his smoothies, and he really apprec...

FINALLY! It exists in my very own studio - introducing the Binford E520 Multi-Tasking Wine-and-Computing Tower for personal use. See SBS for main computer image.
Source only for structure, with the cobweb brush. Cut, paste, distort, warp, burn, dodge, erase, layer masks and layer adjustments, and a little bit of painting.

This is a recreation of a chop that I did on another site a few years ago. The beast itself and its inner workings are all new for this contest. See SBS for most of the steps that were taken to create this. A couple more brushes are mentioned there as well.

This is a project I've wanted to try, something different. Saw it done a few years ago, see sbs. At first I was thinking that a troll would be interesting to find under the bridge, then came across the statue that seemed to me like a homeless man, and after that I found 'his' dog.
