(5 years and 327 days ago)I love those headlights they are oh so round and friendly...like a warm smile. This photograph is sharp with good contrast seen and tightly cropped to bring our attention on the round headlights. Nice post.
OOF slightly.
(5 years and 327 days ago)Has a lovley old feel to this. Well composed with keeping the sky in that left hand aspect of image. Nice
(5 years and 328 days ago)Good in monochrome. You are the b/w specialist and seem to know that textures really are pronounced when shot in monochrome. Good one.
(5 years and 328 days ago)Decay times two, good catch.
(5 years and 328 days ago)Very lovely in monochrome and decay feel is there.
(5 years and 329 days ago)The bright colours do bring this 'decay' to an exciting level. I quite like it.
(5 years and 329 days ago)Hmmmm dunno... like an umbrella without rain? oh no, because you use them for the sun too...
(5 years and 331 days ago)Like a fish without chips?
Like a vampire with no teeth?
Like a glass without rum?
Like soap without water?
Please help me
What would a church be without walls.....?
(5 years and 331 days ago)This sounds like the beginning of a joke, can you finish it for me?
Maybe, but what would a church be without walls?
(5 years and 331 days ago)Now THIS IS a wall and I like it in b/w but it has a strong gray bias.
(5 years and 332 days ago)like this though its more about a church than the wall
(5 years and 332 days ago)It amazes me how people who dress up as these living statues can stand in one place for so many hours.
(5 years and 341 days ago)Bicycle seat.
(5 years and 342 days ago)We have one of these in our gym and they are excellent for a good biceps work out. You place your hands on the leather element and lean your body into a 45 degree angle, curl your toes in to prevent slippage. You then do a push up bringing the head down to leather element and ensure that the forehead is touching and hold the position for the count of 15 breaths, make sure the breaths are deep and diaphragmatic in nature. Then straighten out your arms, take a step forward to relax then redo the whole process agaiin...do it about 15 times and you will have biceps like OLGA from the VOLGA!
(5 years and 345 days ago)No way Jose, this is obviously a toaster over used to make pizzas and melted cheese wraps. It has two stories where you can make pizzas and or cheese melt wraps. You put the charcoal into the lower section or the belly and then the smoke accumulates in the oven part before it goes up the chimney. The natives painted this red so as to hide the hot firey red that changes the whole structure into a bloom of fire.
(5 years and 345 days ago)A steam tank locomotive LSWR 415 class???
(5 years and 346 days ago)nice catch, sharp as a woman's tongue and good exposure. Spot on.
(5 years and 349 days ago)Wow , well done. Sharp enough with considered cropping leaving them plenty of room to fly into!
(5 years and 355 days ago)Very American, colourful, well shot.
(5 years and 355 days ago)Very nice capture.
(5 years and 357 days ago)Looks like avmurray from aFAR! ha....good one!
(5 years and 359 days ago)Those leaves add more substance to this image as does the raindrops which cover and make them look luscious.
(5 years and 361 days ago)Looks like sausages at first. Lobsters on ice, very nice.
(5 years and 361 days ago)I would stop by here with this welcoming sign. We had high tea at the old British consulate awhile back what a great big to do, it was fun.
(5 years and 367 days ago)Congrats Brian
(5 years and 368 days ago)Hey congrats !
(5 years and 369 days ago)So this is the famous St. Moritz, thank you. If you post processed this in PS you could bring out some of the shadows and pop the canoes a bit more...just go to image...shadow/highlight lever and play with it.
(5 years and 370 days ago)Loch Ness maybe? Interesting low lying clouds, good contrast and a photo that is "pretty as a picture".
(5 years and 370 days ago)Nice a crisp with good exposure. The top of the hotel is nipped off and the only reason I'm noticing that is because at our photo club a member submitted an image similar to this , it was perfect, until one of the members noticed the top was clipped off and that photo did not make it into the Photo Exhibition.
(5 years and 370 days ago)Yes, it dips to the left and my eyes feel like it could use just a touch more of exposure but a nice landscape indeed.
(5 years and 370 days ago)I like this capture and the gloomy day comes across. When I look at this shot it makes me want to go there. Nice and sharp and realistic. I like the lead line of the grasses taking our eye to that all important spot of 3.
(5 years and 370 days ago)Nice to see someone shopping amidst the warm coloured wooden bowls.
(5 years and 370 days ago)Interesting shop but it does not show "shopping"...it does however show a shop! I love the colours and the glow.
(5 years and 370 days ago)Its a lovey landscape but the horizon is slightly crooked.
(5 years and 371 days ago)Llandudno!!! I would have just straightened the perspective, the wall of the hotel on the left side, or just crop a tiny bit if you can't do it Where are Punch and Judy?
(5 years and 371 days ago)What a grrrrrrrreat colour palette, looks almost like this machine is fashion conscious. How tall is it and I wonder what does it do. Well taken.
(5 years and 371 days ago)The crop may be a tad tight because we would love to see more of the machine, well at least I would but your crop is your personal artistic choice. Nice and sharp and quite interesting upload. What does it do? The bags are from Guatemala and 'cosecha' means harvest or crop....crop of what!
(5 years and 372 days ago)Love the intensity caught on the man and I would have loved to have seen more of this "work machine". Good in colour as red, a hot hot emotive colour suits the situation.
(5 years and 372 days ago)When you are working in PS go to your shadow highlight lever and play with it. You could have brought out that man in the cab and given him more details.
(5 years and 372 days ago)Ha.....good one, like everything about this...a nice tight crop, colour palette is great so glad you didn't change it to b/w...
(5 years and 372 days ago)Nice nice tonal range here and your dof is perfect as is the crop. I am trying to figure out where you are standing? In Greece?
(5 years and 372 days ago)Good catch and we photographers are always walking through cemeteries...I wonder why? And like all good wanderers of cemeteries, we all ponder the same questions....I like the clarity of this photograph and the crop is strong . You took this during the bright part of the day and your exposure is spot on.
(5 years and 372 days ago)A blast from the past, what a time mankind went through. Well cropped and caught. I like it.
(5 years and 376 days ago)This is a happy photograph and a great memory. I like the dof you applied, very appropriate.
(5 years and 376 days ago)Great catch with this one although the focus could be sharper and the man growing out of his knee does weaken the image. Had you put this into b/w you would have made it timeless. (or sepia)
(5 years and 378 days ago)Just check your horizon line as it dips to the right but the words hit at the heart.....and still we fight wars....when will we ever learn?
(5 years and 378 days ago)Good catch of bulletin board. Could this be Dubrovnik?
(5 years and 380 days ago)How unusual...blue stairs, hmmmm! I think a bit of a crop down would improve the image and help focus on stairs. Remember how the human eye gravitates to the lightest and brightest spot on the canvas.
(5 years and 380 days ago)Wow the detail is phenomenal, what a work of art. My eyes desperately would like to see this without the tops lopped off but that was not your intention.
(5 years and 380 days ago)
