This one is better than the previous one, however, can you see that the attention is on the boat , not the bridge?
(5 years and 508 days ago)Quick quick, there is a dust spot in the sky...you can take that out (dead pixels). Go to dead centre then across to the right a bit and it is there. (upper aspect of image...high in the sky)
(5 years and 509 days ago)Good one. Well defined, good tonality and a zippy post. Check to make sure you do NOT have a lean to the left.
(5 years and 509 days ago)The composition of this could be improved upon. The boat is hitting the lower margin "ouch"....a bit more negative space. The boat is well shot tho' good exposure, nice contrast.
(5 years and 515 days ago)Congrats to you on this. I really liked it Brian.
(5 years and 515 days ago)Outcome of the survey: 2 out of 5 bald men wear a cap
(5 years and 516 days ago)Grass View...hmmmm but the contest says bridges! A piece of a bridge is a tease.
(5 years and 517 days ago)Hi you need to crop at the right to eliminate those branches coming into the frame. The reason for this is because our eyes go there and then our brains try to complete the picture by guessing what it is and then we quickly leave the photo and you don't want that to happen, you want the viewer glued to your image. If you look at the thumbnail print of this photo have a look and it looks mighty fine the way they have cropped it for you as they eliminate the black shadow at the left too and a bit of the sky has been taken down. Play with it, it is a fine photo!
(5 years and 517 days ago)Photo makes me feel lost too! In Picasa you could have tilted this a bit to put it on a diagonal and thereby making it a bit more dynamic. The photo feels static but colourful pops of humanity are nice.
(5 years and 517 days ago)Love this one. It is well composed and to me it looks like one priest is about to punch out the other one, most likely fighting over a woman ! Your rendition in black and white is good with a large gray tonality throughout. The patterns are so Dubrovnik and oh so photogenic. Nice one...top of the shelf.
(5 years and 517 days ago)....and low light too!
(5 years and 517 days ago)Maybe these customers are talking too loud?
(5 years and 517 days ago)You need to make those reflections fiery red....! ha. I like this photo and do think it works in monochrome.
(5 years and 517 days ago)Hi, I think you know this already, but it is really really really noisy.
(5 years and 517 days ago)This is wild and I like the inversion into negative...it is nice to see you playing and exploring. This is otherworldly...good on you.
(5 years and 517 days ago)We want the bridge, the whole bridge and nothing but the bridge.
(5 years and 518 days ago)Nice "memory" photo for your family album!
(5 years and 520 days ago)Sepia has taken us back in time...ahh yes, back to the 40's. It is too bad that the expressions are out of synchronicity as is the body language for it causes the feeling of "dance" and a well-choreographed piece to have a somewhat disjointed feel.
(5 years and 521 days ago)Looks military. God rest ye merry souls, Semper Fi.
(5 years and 522 days ago)If I came here I know I would be lost for hours. What a great gritty sepia catch! It is all-encompassing and full of history. Good one through and through!
(5 years and 523 days ago)A bit soft but you surely did catch the movement!
(5 years and 523 days ago)Looks like a lot of fun. A happy snappy touristy shot, good for the family album!
(5 years and 523 days ago)Ahhh, what a place to visit, thank you. You have over contrasted this and you can clearly see black "clipping" or "black outs" in the trees. (it's the opposite of blowouts) You could take your highlights/shadow lever and muck around a bit to see if you could bring out some detail. This was taken on a very bright day and your exposure was difficult. It is a nice photograph and would do well in a magazine
(5 years and 523 days ago)I just viewed your image in high res and was blown over at the artistry of your upload. I quite like that "witnessing" effect you have included. This image whispers to me that there are secrets hidden within. I like the compositional style as well that solid stone to our right and the tree, (full of life) hugging (framing) the distant stones. I also like the tonality of this shot...black to white and much in between. Top of the shelf work both technically and artistically.
(5 years and 524 days ago)A very strong grey bias to this image. Crop is good and pov focuses on the graveyard, nice and sharp too. What a wonderful place to be able to roam around in...full of history I'm guessing.
(5 years and 524 days ago)I like this one for it has a feel of cold, blue...and death! Your contrast is strong, you do have some dust spots in the sky (the bane of all photographers). The photo is sharp, a considered composition is evident and overall a pleasant view, thank you. I wonder if a bit more exposure would brighten this and show the snow as white versus blue?
(5 years and 524 days ago)Energy of the dance (moment) well caught and with the inclusion of environment your photo transports us to this fiesta nicely.
(5 years and 525 days ago)Congrats Brian
(5 years and 529 days ago)Congrats on this one photonutsky!
(5 years and 530 days ago)Oh I thought this shot was yours Olga! He he, I'll know you author tonight when I vote
(5 years and 532 days ago)They feel guillotined but are nice and sharp against a non obtrusive background.
(5 years and 532 days ago)Rainy days bring forth great colours as it shows here. Your considered visual weight is well thought out with the rooftops weighing out the tall steeple. Your sky is clear of raindrops and this is a really vibrant and delightful shot.
(5 years and 532 days ago)You and I travel to the same places I see. Nice pov , a good sharp shot taken on a rainy day with plenty of raindrops on your lens.
(5 years and 532 days ago)Wonderful image and superb colours. Hvar ...?
(5 years and 533 days ago)For me, compositionally speaking, I feel a bit more room at the left would have made for a stronger shot, but that is strictly subjective.
(5 years and 539 days ago)Hi, you have a bit of a bleed on the reds....reds do bleed when overexposed.
(5 years and 539 days ago)Solid presentation, good focus, mist captured realistically. Very lovely.
(5 years and 539 days ago)A "pretty as a picture" photograph with inclusion of foreground. Nice. I like it.
(5 years and 539 days ago)Ahhh nice emotive feel to this. Taking the path into consideration was the way to go and invites the viewer to enjoy this walk with you.

(5 years and 539 days ago)With this upload we can smell the bread as well as see it clearly (I wonder why I'm salivating? hmmmm). Nice sharpness showing good detail, colour palette rich and realistic. It is well cropped, nice and tight.
(5 years and 542 days ago)Congrats on 2 and 3 Brian
(5 years and 543 days ago)A lovely burst of excited flowers in orange. It's eye-catching. A bit more of a crop at the left to balance out the marginal space?
(5 years and 544 days ago)Brian, congrats on these two wins....I hope you are "chuffed".
(5 years and 544 days ago)Good one with the pov!
(5 years and 545 days ago)Good one with the pov!
(5 years and 545 days ago)A closer crop on the bird would have punched him out even more. Nice and sharp.
(5 years and 550 days ago)Excellent stop action photo, full of excitement. I bet in colour it would be even more exciting, but that is a subjective opinion.
(5 years and 550 days ago)Congrats Brian
