Like how you timed this well to catch them at their peak...they are all absorbed.
(5 years and 606 days ago)Interesting and educational catch....eggs n all.
(5 years and 606 days ago)Nice and sharp and in my face....like it.
(5 years and 606 days ago)Great close up of this fruit. I do think the focus is off a bit on the main berry however the little berry in the lower right (viewer's right) is smack on focus. I like how this engages us.
(5 years and 607 days ago)Thanks to your post I shall never look at rocks the same way. To have put this into b/w gives it much more impact for the textural quality has been brought out really well. You have a broad gradient range that further gives a lot of depth. The composition follows horizontal cut rules of photography and further gives pizzazzz to this well rendered image.
(5 years and 610 days ago)Isn't that a "truck?" (still one syllable anyway)
(5 years and 613 days ago)Be careful where you put the focus on your picture. I can't see where the focus is here.
(5 years and 614 days ago)I like seeing those old people in the background with this 'old' car. A clean photograph, gray zones spot on.
(5 years and 614 days ago)Love the colour palette, artistic and pleasing. Sharp as a pin and centered composition with a nip at the top, and nice bokeh!
(5 years and 614 days ago)Hat yes, slighlty soft, could have used a better dof but nicely composed with a tight nip.
(5 years and 614 days ago)I like your pov and the way you composed this photo, nice broad gray tonality to it also. Was it snowing this day? The thumb could be a wee bit more in focus.
(5 years and 614 days ago)WOW I want to go there. Denlig, that was a great link, THANK YOU and this shot is skyrocketing good. Difficult to get such a huge tower into the shot but you did it.
(5 years and 616 days ago)The gray tonality on this image is pristine and your perspective tool (if you used it at all) is spot on. Very well done.
(5 years and 616 days ago)Good clean shot this but would not have minded to see more of the saddle, stirrups etc.
(5 years and 616 days ago)Select all the link with your mouse

That's all !

(5 years and 619 days ago)because of your gutsy take on this tower ...the tilt, it makes it a cut above and I like it a lot. Good detail showing in the bricks, nice gray zone balance. Kudos!
(5 years and 621 days ago)Congrats Brian, well done.
(5 years and 621 days ago)Congrats Brian
(5 years and 621 days ago).......yes and a good reason to shoot whilst traveling, the photos resurrect memories for us.
(5 years and 623 days ago)Clear and very crisp image, I wonder what the front half looked like Many colours catch our eye.
(5 years and 625 days ago)Hey B congrats!
(5 years and 627 days ago)I see you want the focus on the box and have softened the "stuff" inside the box. This has a natural feel to the photo. Not overdone and point of view has been brought to our eye level.
(5 years and 627 days ago)Cool and a fun photo. This one is well composed and does not look snappy. Nice and sharp without oversaturation.
(5 years and 627 days ago)You passed by this shop and I can see you have expensive taste....snap...got the shot!.....and now you are teasing us. I like how the "kaviar" is inside the tubes which are inside the boxes.
(5 years and 627 days ago)Congrats
(5 years and 627 days ago)Contrats Brian, well done
(5 years and 627 days ago)I really like this image. Warm colours that compliment the silhouetted pier. Does the dark foreground add to the shot? If it were cropped out would that emphasize the pier more or take away the context?
(5 years and 629 days ago)Super late afternoon feel to this shot. The basket and bench both silhouetted and given context. For me the 'blown' sea takes a little away not least because the crisp line of the post is affected by it.
(5 years and 629 days ago)Great composition. Piles and posts in water are very photogenic. I like the water here that sets off the posts very well.
(5 years and 629 days ago)Great shot - lovely use of light - great effort.
(5 years and 629 days ago)This metal skier may wait a while before he can ski !
(5 years and 629 days ago)This is more of a sunset photograph versus a silhouette photograph but that doesn't make it a bad shot, if anything, the setting sun ignites the whole scene.
(5 years and 630 days ago)What is a fire basket and what is it used for...other than silhouette photographs Strong image I like how there is a glow on the basket and how balanced the shot feel with the blow out on the water....they visually seem to compliment each other.
(5 years and 630 days ago)Good in monochrome. See that wee thing on the margin line at the right on the pier? It is sneaking into your shot. I know you can't clone out on this site but in case you are putting it up again elsewhere do consider taking that out. Still you get good high marks
(5 years and 630 days ago)My goodness where were you standing? That telephone pole in the distance gives sense of scale and this metal man must have been tremendously huge.
(5 years and 630 days ago)Well seen and caught. Were you thinking of this contest when you shot this? ha.
(5 years and 630 days ago)Love this it is so creepy and your technical aspects are well done ..nice gray tonality ...top marks.
(5 years and 630 days ago)Yes, large green leaves and there seems to be magenta/blue hues interferring, can you now see that too? The compositional style is nice and artistic.
(5 years and 630 days ago)I think I'm in love. How lucky we are to be sharing this planet with these handsome creatures. Your heart must have skipped a beat to find him. A part of me thinks he could be contrasted a bit more to show more differentiation between the light and dark pyxles. What is really lovely is your point of view, y'see you shot from above and yet caught his eye looking at you...what this does is emphasizes his fragility, small...beautiful and it's a great photograph. I love it.
(5 years and 630 days ago)There are two things I really like about this image. I love that deep rich green colour and the selective colour has been really well done. I am looking hard for bleeding into and beyond and past the truck and cannot find anything. This is fine work. Wish I could give you a suggestion on how to improve upon it...but I can't.
(5 years and 630 days ago)I'm impressed with this shot because you even brought back the green grass, (no mean feat). Interesting objects but I don't understand what they are used for (can't understand your description). I like how they are shot on a diagonal from large to not so large. The photograph is sharp and the gray tonality is broad.
(5 years and 630 days ago)I find it interesting that I am drawn to the one eye of the mask (the yellow mask), just goes to show you how we gravitate to the "gate to the soul". Nice tight crop and full of vibrant colour.
(5 years and 631 days ago)Matryoshka dolls are truly colourful. This is a nice snappy touristy shot, I'm sure any of us who pass these dolls has taken this shot. Clear and sharp.
(5 years and 631 days ago)ha ha ha ha got the title... good and colourful too.
(5 years and 631 days ago)A clear and sharp photo with nice diagonal lines and certainly colourful.
(5 years and 631 days ago)Congrats!
(5 years and 635 days ago)I have always liked this photo. Congrats!
(5 years and 635 days ago)This is quite the artistic piece, congrats photonutsky.
(5 years and 635 days ago)Scary !
