The blending job here is very convincing, author. If I could make one suggestion it would be to reverse the sky to match the apparent lighting source on the ground. The source pic is lit from the left, but the lion is shadowed on the left and the light source on the head statue is from the right also. Reversing the background(if possible) would make the light source come from the right for both.

The children are blended nicely, but the duplication of the clouds takes my attention away from the nice blending of the kids.
(5 years and 3481 days ago)Nice rendering, author. Faces can be difficult for many! Good luck.
(5 years and 3489 days ago)Nice depth and texture!
(5 years and 3501 days ago)This is one of those entries that simply stands alone.
(5 years and 3510 days ago)Very nice composition!
(5 years and 3518 days ago)Not weird sautéed in butter
(5 years and 3518 days ago)Very imaginative.
(5 years and 3537 days ago)Nice work...great composition
(5 years and 3542 days ago)In addition, if you want to use Google, you can go to the advanced settings within the images tab & set the filter to only show images labeled for re-use & modification. Even then, it's good to double check your source for a copyright.
(5 years and 3543 days ago)BTW....Your image is nice.
I like the image, but the cross bars on the shadows need to run parallel ot the horizon just like the striations on the ground to make visual sense.
(5 years and 3543 days ago)Very original! I was a bit cofused at first. Nice work.
(5 years and 3543 days ago)Nice idea and well composed, despite the perpective deviation.
(5 years and 3543 days ago)Very nice composition.
(5 years and 3543 days ago)This truly bizzare...love it!
(5 years and 3543 days ago)Maybe soften the lower left butterfly a little?
Very nicely done! Good luck author.
(5 years and 3543 days ago)My highest vote ever. If I didn't know, I would say it was a photo. The design is great too!
(5 years and 3543 days ago)Imiseed this one! One of the best I've seen on the sight. The profile is amazing!
(5 years and 3543 days ago)Nice job!
(5 years and 3545 days ago)Very creative!
(5 years and 3545 days ago)Great work!
(5 years and 3545 days ago)vERY NICE...BEAUTIFUL COMPOSITION! Congrats
(5 years and 3545 days ago)Very nice. I like the sketchy quality. it looks a sif it could be indoors or outdoors in any abandoned structure situation.
(5 years and 3548 days ago)LOL
(5 years and 3549 days ago)Reminds me of the water bug
(5 years and 3549 days ago)Anthony Bourdane at in Viet Nam.
I think a little gaussian on one of the duplicated splash layers might be effective....maybe, but it's still a nice job. I like the composition and the action.
(5 years and 3549 days ago)Nice, but why no mouth?
(5 years and 3551 days ago)At first glance, your grass looks like cattails. In fact it almost looks like some cattail tops within. Chopping in some random cattail tops & a bit of green on the lower portion of the leaves could really break up the repetition referenced in the previous comment and add nicely to your composition.
(5 years and 3551 days ago)nice idea. Try working with the pen tool, converting paths to selections, for smoother curves. You will be happy with your results.
(5 years and 3552 days ago)Hands down the best one.
(5 years and 3552 days ago)I like the originality of your craft.
(5 years and 3552 days ago)I like the originality of your craft.
(5 years and 3552 days ago)Very nice.
(5 years and 3559 days ago)Didn't mean to remove my comment, just wanted to say the bent corner looks better
(5 years and 3560 days ago)I like this. Can you tip the water trough so it goes down hill?
(5 years and 3562 days ago)Nicely done. I would have lowered the opacity on the close reflections, though, as the mud in the edge of the water would seemiongly show through a bit more.(just a little nit-pick)
(5 years and 3563 days ago)Love the mood, author. This reminds me of maple sap collection in early spring with the sugarbush shack behind. The only thing I would suggest would be to soften the dark areas in the foreground so they don't look like part of a cloud filter. Over all, though, nice work !
(5 years and 3563 days ago)Nice adjustment
This is a nice idea, but author, these bales are about 5 feet high and must be lifted by a tractor. The one in the foreground is fairly close, but the others are way off. On a side note, I know a guy who sadly killed his father by dropping one from the tractor. He didn't know his dad was under it.
(5 years and 3564 days ago)Nice composition...could hang it in the CDC offices.
(5 years and 3569 days ago)Very unique!
(5 years and 3569 days ago)Just a nit-pick. The angle of the first 'k' is almost verticle, where the second 'k' is slated more forward. A littl backward skew would fix that. That being said, nice restoration work
(5 years and 3569 days ago)The background doesn't do justice to the very nice work on the character. A good back ground would give this a high(er) vote from me.
(5 years and 3570 days ago)Escher, with less order. Interesting piece. Like the depth.
(5 years and 3576 days ago)I would assume it was a photo if I didn't know. Nice work!
(5 years and 3576 days ago)I'm not usually a big fan of symmetry, but your variation of color and asymmetry of blood flow helps make it work. Nice composition, author.
(5 years and 3576 days ago)Would like to see more of the process, but I like the piece.
(5 years and 3577 days ago)Weird, dark, Adams Familyesque, Love it.
(5 years and 3577 days ago)Very creative. I would remove the glow where the sword pearces the skulls. This looks better in hi rez also.
(5 years and 3577 days ago)Nice atmosphere. IMO the shack is too small...comes off like a model for me.
(5 years and 3577 days ago)funny
