I think lambs are a bit smaller, but its a nice effort.
(5 years and 3811 days ago)Good work....love the attitude.
(5 years and 3811 days ago)This is so well done, except for the hat & hand thing that CMYK pointed out. Stiil a good vote.
(5 years and 3811 days ago)Some indication of the upper arms & shoulders dissapearing behind her would be a good addition IMO.
(5 years and 3811 days ago)I would leave the owl as a silhouette(no eyes), but its a nice image.
(5 years and 3811 days ago)Nice effect
(5 years and 3811 days ago)I personally like the subtle transition from reality to the flay background
(5 years and 3811 days ago)Nicely done
(5 years and 3811 days ago)Although some highlights on the frontal area would "round" him out a bit, this is a nicely done character.
(5 years and 3811 days ago)Nice composition and fresh approach
(5 years and 3811 days ago)Funny idea. Good for a 12 year old.
(5 years and 3811 days ago)IMO a background would complete the composition, but still a high vote for your clever idea and nice reconstruction of the source.
(5 years and 3811 days ago)The fuzzy edges of the rocks on the right should be hard like the left side. Over all I like it.
(5 years and 3812 days ago)LOL....very cool! What a traffic jam that would be.
(5 years and 3812 days ago)I'll bet I know who's work this is.....
(5 years and 3813 days ago)Funny idea.
(5 years and 3813 days ago)Well done.
(5 years and 3813 days ago)The placement and blending of the girl is great. For the tracks I would suggest studying some photos of tracks with people nearby, or better yet, take some reference photos of your own. As it stands, the scale of the rails is like a child's ride at a carnival. I sometimes take photos just for contests so I can make comparisons and even use them directly. Good luck! You don't have a bad start.
(5 years and 3813 days ago)I'm a stick in the mud. The scale of the two backgrounds is totally different. I LOVE the piece and the idea except for the snowy side. It's a cool concept & nice composition & the bees with the ropes are very inventive. That being said, it's still worth a good vote.
(5 years and 3813 days ago)Really nice adaptation of the source. In high res it looks like her butt and the books are floating a bit, but over all the piece has a nice feel.
(5 years and 3813 days ago)Compare her dress to the white on the boxes. There should probably be a little more light on the dress in the lit lower areas. That being said, I think her scale is good & she should be a nice fit.
(5 years and 3813 days ago)Cool puppet!
(5 years and 3813 days ago)As for the perspective, I'm going to assume that the cloth under the small drum has tilted it forward, as in many still life pics. Although the bottom left corners of the pots are maybe a little too light, I like this piece for the vibrnt colors and the composition.
(5 years and 3813 days ago)Very rich and crative.
(5 years and 3813 days ago)This is well blended and convincing. Nice work.
(5 years and 3813 days ago)Looks like a female cardinal without the pointed head. Nice work author.
(5 years and 3813 days ago)Creative use of source, and the SBS shows your nice efforts.
(5 years and 3813 days ago)Rather than making the leg bottoms transparent, try using the eraser tool with a "grass" brush tip. That being said, this one made me smile. Nice work.
(5 years and 3813 days ago)Awwwwww...forget it. I'm in the middle of a spider right now. Time for plan "B". Great piece, author.
(5 years and 3814 days ago)This is a very cool compsition-even with fairies.
(5 years and 3815 days ago)Some darker accents in the trees might be good, but I like the idea.
(5 years and 3816 days ago)Great job! I had to see the SBS to appreciate this one.
(5 years and 3816 days ago)IMO a good stone or dirt floor might be more effective than the green, but I like the rest.
(5 years and 3816 days ago)Well composed and creative!
(5 years and 3816 days ago)Nice belnding. Very believeable.
(5 years and 3816 days ago)Nice idea. The plane in the rear is behind the tree line which means it is absolutely huge.
(5 years and 3816 days ago)50
(5 years and 3816 days ago)A background would be nice, but who's complaining....well done piece.
(5 years and 3816 days ago)Didn't see the first one, but this one looks great!
(5 years and 3816 days ago)Edit: On high res, it looks like the bottom outside edges sag down a bit. If they could be warped up slightly so the bottom of the pot has a slight smooth curve, the perspective should be perfect.
Very nice!
(5 years and 3817 days ago)congrats!
(5 years and 3817 days ago)Congrats
(5 years and 3817 days ago)I would have more appreciation for this had you used some of the source leaves to replace your own.
(5 years and 3818 days ago)Very nice! I would like to know what technique you used for taking the legs from 2-D to 3-D because it was very effective & left off the sbs..
(5 years and 3818 days ago)There are some nice persuasive poster designs here, but so far this is the only entry that's on the theme.
(5 years and 3820 days ago)Well composed
(5 years and 3820 days ago)I like what oyu've done author. May I suggest that you shorten the width of the rear wheel? That is, to be in perspective it would be slightly shorter from front to back than the front one. Cloned as it is, it appears to me to be on a different vertical plane, curving off to the right.
(5 years and 3820 days ago)I think the author is correct. This may further clarify the point.>>>http://books.google.com/books?id=fRY4QBpLFGQC&pg=PT380&lpg=PT380&dq=is+the+coca-cola+logo+public+domain%3F&source=bl&ots=o8T8MWXrrV&sig=6p-I1-04tqdJpM6aiegSNHZa0b0&hl=en&ei=dalWSoR8h54w4v65nQg&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=7 (page 374)
(5 years and 3820 days ago)great idea, construction, and atmosphere. Might be more efeective without the water IMO.
(5 years and 3820 days ago)Very nicely done!
