(5 years and 580 days ago)Author, please add the links to the source box not the description box.
(5 years and 580 days ago)You can replace the photo with an other waterfall photo of your own.
(5 years and 1469 days ago)Congrats!!
(5 years and 1469 days ago)congrats
(5 years and 1472 days ago)Congrats!
(5 years and 1472 days ago)WooT WOOT! Congrats even with the squished lady
(5 years and 1472 days ago)Congrats.....
(5 years and 1473 days ago)YOU SQUISHED THE LADY!!! (the original photo) Super cool. While I understand Spaceranger's dedication to model builders... (If you ever meet someone who put a ship in a bottle, hide all your sharp silverware if you say TOY) I think this chop is simply amazing.
(5 years and 1482 days ago)I do believe a model can be considered a toy for this contest, as many models are available at toy stores... granted, if you've ever been in a hobby store or specialty Model shop the sophistication and "adult" attitude required to assemble them is mind boggling. Ask any one who has done a wooden model that requires an EXACTO knife to cut out the pieces...Yikes, I could never do it, I like my fingers too much. GREAT WORK AUTHOR.. and good luck
I'm an avid model builder myself and I make very accurate and detailed models of aircraft, spacecraft and military models. Since this contest is more about Photoshop skills I won't be using my models in this contest. Most people may consider them toys but model makers don't. Using such a model does make believability in a real world setting easier. I'm not saying you're wrong, just that you didn't have to do any Photoshop work on the "toy" to make it look real.
(5 years and 1483 days ago)I want to stress the point that this is NOT wrong or off theme! By definition a toy is "an object for a child to play with, typically a model or miniature replica of something: (as) a toy car." You did create a very good composition and the Photoshop work is quite well done. It's just my point of view regarding how the realism is achieved.
Pretty realistic. You might want to fix the reversed lettering on the background tank.
(5 years and 1483 days ago)WoW !
(5 years and 1505 days ago)To capture these guys simultaneously is a rare moment that requires a great deal of P A T I E N C E.
Good work, Author.
You did a good job.... congratulations for 4th....
(5 years and 1507 days ago)Beautiful
(5 years and 1509 days ago)great find and well done at that distance.
(5 years and 1509 days ago)Sooper Moody! Love it
(5 years and 1510 days ago)Yeah. I like this image better, the lighting looks good. Good luck!
(5 years and 1510 days ago)This looks much better than the original dark version. But the moon is gone, I don't know if that was intentional or not
(5 years and 1511 days ago)I know what you mean, I do the same thing, trying all kinds of versions of my image. This looks much better, we can see the details and it's still dramatic. Too bad about the tombstones, I assume you tried searching your history. Even without the tombstones this deserves a good score IMHO.
(5 years and 1511 days ago)I see from your SBS a lot of work was done but I think the final image is too dark to appreciate the details (and I'm using a 27" high res monitor). You could brighten it up a bit and still maintain the drama.
(5 years and 1511 days ago)This made me smile! I think if back ground was saturated a touch and de-noised it would give it a much more painted feel than photo. Great entry!
(5 years and 1520 days ago)Where can I get one? I agree with CYMK on the lighting. The direction Your light source is coming from, you could darken the shadows on your pet a little more. Other than that, fine work author. Good luck.
(5 years and 1526 days ago)Might want to soften a few edges, but the overall image & effect is good.
(5 years and 1531 days ago)That is really cool !!!!....
(5 years and 1531 days ago)Super great! Reminds me of the Jinn combined with the Never Ending Story I'm not going to mention the smell (according to the description) hehehe
(5 years and 1531 days ago)fun creation author.
(5 years and 1533 days ago)I think I know this... just for the glasses.... the hair...mmmmhhhh
(5 years and 1535 days ago)aww so cute I want to adopt him!
(5 years and 1537 days ago)WOOT! All fixed! COOL!
(5 years and 1537 days ago)There goes the neighborhood, next stop Judge Judy LOL.. great job
(5 years and 1537 days ago)Fur's a bit blurry, but good job with the lighting, and good humor.
(5 years and 1537 days ago)What the hell is my damage? This is frickin' brilliant.. dammit, my memory... My apologizes for not recognizing this skill, I'll try to do better
(5 years and 1538 days ago)Author got a spanking, Author got a spanking (just teasing) if you look at the HI RES you can see it.. sorta... hehehe... great idea, just wanna better vision.. as the two mods above just throttled you over... (hehehe) It's a hard contest, every time you have to work in a low res, it sends photoshoppers into a tizzy... damn resolution... Great help mods.. this is a tough contest
(5 years and 1538 days ago)Lelaina is quite right. I copied your entry and changed the size to 100x100pxls and it looks just fine as it is in your high res but as Lelaina said your entry should be a higher resolution for better viewing. I'll hold my vote till you change it and ask other members do the same.
(5 years and 1538 days ago)Author, did you work on 100 x 100 pixel, or did you work in a bigger resolution?
(5 years and 1538 days ago)If so, then maybe upload the bigger resolution image, as this one is very pixelated. We can't see, what you did!
For the contest, you can upload the normal image size. The reminder with the 100 x 100 pixel was just, if the avatar is going to be used! (Because PXL avatars can just be max 100 x 100 pixel and 25 kb)
They are right ... What a shame for a so beautifull landscape ! Maybe with a square crop ?
(5 years and 2250 days ago)I think you are right, the sky detracts from the photo.
(5 years and 2254 days ago)For me, the sky is too blown out and detracts from the beautiful colors below. I would either:
(5 years and 2254 days ago)A) Tweak the contrast/brightness/gamma to recover the sky detail or
B) Crop the image to exclude the sky/horizon making the colors in the foreground your focal point.
.....IMHO of course.
Good Luck!
Really love the work on this.
(5 years and 2432 days ago)Real nice work, looks sort of like a painting
(5 years and 2434 days ago)Now we got the winner! Awsome entry
(5 years and 2435 days ago)Good work, but there's no image at link 3.
(5 years and 2435 days ago)nice one!!
(5 years and 2467 days ago)Congratulations!
(5 years and 2473 days ago)Very nice work, and this would not have made it months ago, I am all for opening up the drawing to let the use of the tools in. we need more creativity in here. well done and congrats.
