I really like the lighting in this. Great shadows.
(5 years and 3143 days ago)I like the sentiment in this one! The idea of him having to hold a mask of the exciting, creepy guy is perfect with the balloons in the other hand. Maybe if you added a shadow under him...that would complete it. Great job, author!
(5 years and 3143 days ago)Really nice work, author! Very believable.
(5 years and 3144 days ago)This is just kinda gross....love it!!! Hey...if you add some texture from the actual tongue onto the toes it would be cool. Just a thought.
(5 years and 3144 days ago)Awesome. Almost think that if you just darken the highlights of the toes and foot to match the luminosity of the rest of the guy...it would help a bit. Really funny and well done image, author!
(5 years and 3144 days ago)Sweet and fun. Small suggestion for ya...maybe vary the edges of the cloud letters and heart a bit so they aren't so perfect and 'font' looking. Really nice job, author!
(5 years and 3144 days ago)EDIT: This looks great!!
I like the surrealism created here. Hope no one fell into the water from the other two balls. Those kites are now unsupervised. Oh no! Great job, author!
(5 years and 3144 days ago)I really like the muted neutral color of this, author! It fits the source image so well. It's nicely surreal. I would be a bit frightened to be higher than a plane in a hot air balloon. The very sight of this makes me a bit nervy. Yikes. Great job!!
(5 years and 3144 days ago)Thumbs up for SBSP and Patrick!!
(5 years and 3145 days ago)This is great!
(5 years and 3145 days ago)Awww...I was gonna say what Christy already articulated. Damn. Anyway...see if you can get a high res...would love to see it.
(5 years and 3145 days ago)Great blend and good thinking.
(5 years and 3145 days ago)Love the feel of this. Nice work, author!
(5 years and 3145 days ago)Nice work here...especially the cool shadows!
(5 years and 3145 days ago)Love the aluminum cans in the background...nice thinking outside the box on this one!
(5 years and 3145 days ago)This is great! Love the way you fit the sources into one ensemble.
(5 years and 3145 days ago)The mood of this is excellent. Could almost be used for a video game cover. Nice job, author!
(5 years and 3145 days ago)Scary stuff. Nice job!
(5 years and 3145 days ago)Nice job with the source finds and assembly. Really cool result. I like how you colored the train...but in this setting...I think it needs to 'warm up' color wise...in this environment. If you're not going for the realism approach...then it's really cool.
(5 years and 3145 days ago)Nice job with your thinking...it almost looks like the right side needs to line up a bit better with the track.
(5 years and 3145 days ago)Nicely done, author...I could almost see this using a paint program to make this final result look like a painting. It almost looks like a modern day Renoir...with the stronger highlights and vibrant colors.
(5 years and 3145 days ago)Really well done, author. One thing that would really make him look younger is smaller glasses. As for what you've done...it's great!
(5 years and 3145 days ago)Nice work, author! I would put back just a hint of eye wrinkle at the edge to give a bit more realism. Really well done, though!
(5 years and 3145 days ago)Great use of source, author!
(5 years and 3145 days ago)A beaut.
(5 years and 3145 days ago)This reminds me of a recurring character in a line of weekly comics in a paper or something. Very nice!
(5 years and 3145 days ago)Nice take on the anime theme. I actually love the shoes and butterfly like laces. Good stuff!
(5 years and 3145 days ago)I could see this being a series of drawings. Nice job!
(5 years and 3145 days ago)I like the envy bottle being the color of green! Nice idea.
(5 years and 3150 days ago)This is a great use of the source. Nice job, author! Overall color selection is wonderful.
(5 years and 3150 days ago)Very, very pretty work, author!
(5 years and 3150 days ago)I really like the highlights you added to the leg and shoulders.
(5 years and 3150 days ago)It is a bit dark, but I really like the feel of this image. Real nice job using the source image in this way.
(5 years and 3150 days ago)Was wondering if this source would be worked by you, author! Glad it was...really like your finished image.
(5 years and 3150 days ago)This has a real 'DC comics' look to it. Very nicely done! Love the grain look...especially in the lights and orangish light in front of him.
(5 years and 3150 days ago)Really nice take on this theme. Like how you distorted the earth image to match the shape of the actual balloon. I'd like this even more I think if Saturn wasn't monochrome. This works too...though!
(5 years and 3150 days ago)EDIT: Author your explanation makes perfect sense. Thanks for sharing. I like the way it is now too. Upon looking again...I think the way it is now lends more of an attraction...because it ISN'T typical. Nice job!
This is great! If possible...can you lighten the further shadows a bit?...It'll vary the intensity a bit.
(5 years and 3150 days ago)Great message and nicely done!
(5 years and 3150 days ago)Love it. I almost think that if you desaturate the van a bit...or rather try and match the greens of the actual water more...it would be cool. If you don't choose to change it...it still is a very nice image. Great thinking!
(5 years and 3150 days ago)I really like this one! I do kinda wish that the van was in more solid form. Nice job, author!
(5 years and 3150 days ago)LOL...at CMYK. I confess I thought the same thing...but I really like the clarity and faithful perspective here. Like the tight fitting spot for the house with no room for anything else. Very well done.
(5 years and 3150 days ago)Creative take on this theme.
(5 years and 3150 days ago)The clarity and color of this is awesome. I wish the perspective was a bit more faithful. Normally at this angle we would see more of the top of the castle. If you softly darken the grass around the perimeter of the bottom of the castle it will help a lot. Really nice job though, author!
(5 years and 3150 days ago)Nice 'thinking outside the box' approach. Cool image too.
(5 years and 3150 days ago)I like that with the islands you're also telling a story. Good job!
(5 years and 3150 days ago)Thinking outside the box always works for me!
(5 years and 3150 days ago)A unique vision here on this entry. It separates itself from the rest with your sphere and hands. Nice job being different.
(5 years and 3150 days ago)The interpretation is wide open. For a butterfly...it is floating. Unsteady ground. This doesn't seem limited to islands as we know it.
(5 years and 3150 days ago)This is awesome. Almost like a Disney castle in the sky. Really like the rope fence perspective.
(5 years and 3150 days ago)Really unique and different floating island idea! The creativity here is the key.
