Love all the eaten carrots laying around. Nice touch. Great image...and good use of a tough source.
(5 years and 3200 days ago)This is great! Poor fish looks unhappy and lost. Nice wrangling of a difficult source image, author!
(5 years and 3200 days ago)Surreal and very cool stuff, author!
(5 years and 3201 days ago)Nice work, author! Good humor always gets a good vote!!
(5 years and 3201 days ago)I like that you took your own photos and created something different from them.
(5 years and 3201 days ago)Very creative use of the source image, author!
(5 years and 3201 days ago)Great use of the source image! Nice job making an interesting background and really decent flooring. Good reflections and shadows too!
(5 years and 3201 days ago)You did really nice work on the bike...using the source the way that you did...seems that it was very time consuming. However it looks slightly out of place on that background. It kind of looks like an illustration on an actual photo. Perhaps if you darken the entire bike and have the shadow follow the shadows on the trees...this might help. Nice work nonetheless!
(5 years and 3201 days ago)I really like this one! Nice job on the head blending. Just one little thing...there's an odd pinkish line artifact happening from his chest upward away from him. Otherwise...I love it!!!
(5 years and 3201 days ago)I can tell a lot of work went into this. Great work, author!
(5 years and 3201 days ago)Imaginative and really well executed!
(5 years and 3201 days ago)Superb!
(5 years and 3201 days ago)Love this image. Really well done.
(5 years and 3201 days ago)Nice image...agree with MnMCarta and freejay about great use of color over entire image. Perhaps you could bring the front end of reflection of boat to meet the boat edge. In fact, the reflection probably would butt up against the edge of the boat and not have any space of water without reflection. Does that make sense? Also, maybe have the fishing pole cast a shadow on the sea creature's head. I'm not nitpicking here...it's a great image. Just thought these things might help. Great job, author!
(5 years and 3203 days ago)I'm not interested in an argument...but I will say if the light source is from the back, then the boy's chest and viewer's side of the turtle's head wouldn't be so bright. What's creating such brightness on those parts? I think what you're going for is to be able to see everything. The way the light source is now...truthfully they would be more like silhouettes.
Congrats Ichappel!!
(5 years and 3204 days ago)Woo hoo! Congrats dekwid!
(5 years and 3204 days ago)This has a cool 'grunge'....but almost too colorful for grunge look. Hard to describe...but really cool stuff, author!
(5 years and 3204 days ago)This is creative and really liked how you used the source in many ways. To create the spider AND the way you created depth by blurring the original source in the background. Very effective!!
(5 years and 3205 days ago)My favorite one is the dummy to the upper left who's hanging on for dear life. Really nice work, author! Very cool.
(5 years and 3205 days ago)Maybe it's the bench that's alone....no other benches to hang with...lol.
(5 years and 3205 days ago)This is great and really well done. One small suggestion though...it seems the blood is a bit too bright for where it is. I realize that you don't want to lose it if you go too dark, but perhaps lighten the dead creature a bit. If you could add some cyan or black to the reds of the blood...it will help deepen it. I guess what I'm trying to say is a deeper, darker red for the blood would make this great entry really complete in my book. !
(5 years and 3205 days ago)EDIT: Looks
It's creepy...and it's creepy because it's believable and very well done. Nice job!
(5 years and 3206 days ago)This would make a great album cover. Nice job, author!
(5 years and 3206 days ago)This made me smile. Well done, author!
(5 years and 3206 days ago)I liked that you included a different focus by adding an intriguing background to help tell the story for the image. Great vision and really nice execution. The blurry artillery in the foreground is brilliantly done!
(5 years and 3206 days ago)No need to feel awkward, author! This happens all the time. It's happened to me as well. Glad you posted it. It's different and you used different techniques etc. It is in fact a completely separate entry by a separate author. Having said that...I really like what you have done. Extremely well done blending and shading. This is not an easy task. Thanks for posting and good luck. .
(5 years and 3206 days ago)Nice idea and good source finds to make a nice composition. Very appealing.
(5 years and 3206 days ago)I like how you made a top surface and reflection on top. Nice job, author!
(5 years and 3206 days ago)Eye candy to me. This is image is ssssoooo good for the eyes. Upon closer look, author...perhaps you could soften the edge of the roof of the house...where it meets the background. It just looks kinda harsh/hard. But that's it...a small little suggestion for a huge, wonderful image!!!
(5 years and 3206 days ago)This is really cool...there's an odd artifact line in the lower right hand side. If you can remove that...it would be great! Too nice to leave that artifact in the image. Ya know? Good job, author! Too bad there's no SBS.
(5 years and 3206 days ago)Really nice work...love the deepness and color.
(5 years and 3206 days ago)This is really beautifully done. Love the chosen sepia color and love how you don't see the bottom of the maiden...in the mist. The animals in the background are another nice touch. Great work, author!
(5 years and 3206 days ago)Beautiful image! Really love the green lighting too!!
(5 years and 3206 days ago)Nice vision. Love the color too.
(5 years and 3208 days ago)If you could possibly give more shape to the workers...it would help. I love the idea!
(5 years and 3208 days ago)This is the beast of all waterfalls! Wow! Nice idea. Maybe allow a bit more of the actual source surface to show and gradually blend into the large water source. Does that make sense?
(5 years and 3208 days ago)Made me smile. Nice job!
(5 years and 3208 days ago)I like your approach author! A new beginning doesn't have to always be about us humans. It's for all creatures on this great big ball called Earth. Nice work! Sweet bee!
(5 years and 3208 days ago)This is a great concept. Perhaps if you reduce the highlight on the artist's left shoulder, arm and forearm of right side, he'll fit in a bit better. Also, I noticed a strange line in front of the ship...
(5 years and 3208 days ago)The sheer happiness conveyed by the female figure makes this shine. Nice source find on that...overall blending and mood is really sweet.
(5 years and 3208 days ago)Either this astronaut built and put the sign here...or he has some unexpected company...either way...
(5 years and 3208 days ago)Beautifully done.
(5 years and 3209 days ago)This is great!!
(5 years and 3209 days ago)Author...I know you liked Emma....but this fix is far better in my opinion. Nice chango fixo...you actually improved the whole thing. I also like the way the new figure's positioned with the arm.
(5 years and 3211 days ago)Captured the art deco time beautifully here.
(5 years and 3212 days ago)A wonderful entry. Beautiful color and shadows!
(5 years and 3214 days ago)A beaut!! Really sweet image.
(5 years and 3214 days ago)A late comment to say...this is GREAT!
(5 years and 3214 days ago)The little girl doesn't look too happy. Poor thing. Nice source find.
(5 years and 3214 days ago)Agree with above comment about how much work was involved here. It's too bad that entries that garner all this technical work rarely get the 'wow' votes and 'faves'. I can appreciate what you've done here author! Perhaps add some noise and then blur to the letters a bit. Maybe use the healing brush to get rid of the repeaters where you've cloned. This might help.
