I really love the colors of this one. Nice composition, author!
(5 years and 3228 days ago)I really love the detail and gotta love that horizon line getting slightly brighter at water's edge. Nice work!
(5 years and 3228 days ago)A beaut!
(5 years and 3228 days ago)I think I would enjoy this great piece if you would retouch out the 'Phillips' logo and other letters appearing on the back of the bulb.
(5 years and 3228 days ago)Simple, cool and effective! I like this!
(5 years and 3228 days ago)This caught my eye. Nice job author...perhaps soften your edges overall and you'll have a primo image.
(5 years and 3228 days ago)Simple but very effective.
(5 years and 3228 days ago)Really creative and love the overall feel. I like how you didn't just duplicate the ones in the background...you changed them up a bit to make them different. Nice attention to detail.
(5 years and 3228 days ago)I really love entries like these. Thought provoking and well done. Just great!
(5 years and 3228 days ago)Cool stuff...agree with arca!!
(5 years and 3228 days ago)Thought provoking and unique...love stuff like this. Perhaps if you gradually darken the bottom area of the closest heart being pulled a bit more it will give a bit more realism to that part....I kiss my fingertips to this!
(5 years and 3228 days ago)Ooh this is cool. I like the 'think outside the box' approach with this source. Perhaps consider throwing the furthest creature/ships out of focus just a bit to give some depth. Great job, author!
(5 years and 3228 days ago)EDIT: Looks
Really nice job! Visually very pleasing.
(5 years and 3229 days ago)Great idea using the chalkboard around his neck like a mini sandwich board. Nice shadows too!
(5 years and 3229 days ago)This is great!
(5 years and 3229 days ago)Nice job, author! Very realistic!
(5 years and 3229 days ago)A beaut!!! This works even outside of this contest!
(5 years and 3229 days ago)This is cool. I like the use of source here with the hair on the shoulders. Nice job!
(5 years and 3229 days ago)Gotta love those highlights and depth. Nice work author!
(5 years and 3229 days ago)This is well done and really cute.
(5 years and 3229 days ago)I like your thinking and idea here. Perhaps if you give the top area of film where it curls some lightness...brighter. If you gradually make the inside of the curl darker it'll give the image some depth...which I think is why for some it may seem chaotic. Nice work, author!
(5 years and 3229 days ago)Really love this composition, author! You've captured a sweet moment here.
(5 years and 3229 days ago)Creative use of source and great details. The chest area looks a bit warped...but that doesn't bother me. Really nice work!
(5 years and 3229 days ago)Very realistic and cool...author!
(5 years and 3229 days ago)Nice job, author! Great interpretation.
(5 years and 3229 days ago)Nice job! Really like this. It works well larger like this.
(5 years and 3229 days ago)Nice idea.
(5 years and 3229 days ago)I think giving the base a grounding shadow will keep it from looking like it's floating. Nice work author!
(5 years and 3229 days ago)EDIT: Yeah...looks better...but I think I would remove the shadow from the sides and just leave the bottom area. Keep it feathered and smooth. Looking good, author!
Nice vision. Didn't see figures from the original...but it's vivid and pronounced here.
(5 years and 3229 days ago)Well deserved. Beautiful work, Arca!!
(5 years and 3232 days ago)Congrats! Really nice image, Chalty.
(5 years and 3232 days ago)Always had a liking for paintings that depict glass with objects or water in them. This one is just brilliant. Also love the faux finish over the entire piece...nice touch.
(5 years and 3234 days ago)I really like the softness of this one. Something intentionally delicate here. Very nice!
(5 years and 3234 days ago)Uh...nothing short of wonderful. Just wonderful work.
(5 years and 3234 days ago)Author...beautiful selection of color. Very nicely done!!
(5 years and 3234 days ago)Really like the brush strokes you used here...especially in the highlights of the petals.
(5 years and 3234 days ago)Beautiful colors. Nice contrast here!
(5 years and 3234 days ago)I really like your resistance of using too many colors. It's muted, delicate and meaningful the way it is now! Nice job!
(5 years and 3234 days ago)Face and mouth area remind me of a modern Picasso of a sort.
(5 years and 3234 days ago)Really nicely done. The handshake is so beautifully done. Great composition.
(5 years and 3234 days ago)Love the tune...and your work captures it well. Nice job!
(5 years and 3234 days ago)Wow! This is really great! A lot of great entries in this contest. Love this lighting too.
(5 years and 3234 days ago)Classy lighting. Always like good lighting on entries. This one has it! Big time!!
(5 years and 3234 days ago)Really beautifully done!
(5 years and 3234 days ago)Beautiful illustration work, author! You have the light clearly in front of the human figure but it seems the lion's head is a bit too bright. If you were able to darken the lion's face and front it would solidify the lighting a bit more. Really nice work!
(5 years and 3234 days ago)Creative and cool. NIce work!
(5 years and 3234 days ago)Creative use of the difficult source. Nice job, author. On second look...I think the swoosh stuff is distracting to the cool 50s looking, futuristic horror flick center.
(5 years and 3234 days ago)Author...could you possibly provide a high resolution of this? I was really hoping to see one. Nice job so far!
(5 years and 3235 days ago)Agree with Chalty669...and
(5 years and 3235 days ago)Nice job! I like the shadow the wrist and hand are casting on the surface of the coffee. My only thought is that the droplets on the hand could be shaded a dark brownish color to help realism.
(5 years and 3235 days ago)EDIT: I think it looks better...but perhaps not all need to be the same brown. Vary it up a bit since light refracts differently at different angles. Sorry to nitpick with all these suggestions...just like the image and would like to see it do well.
