The focus of the bird to the left and naturally letting your eyes glide to the right...rest of the image is brilliant. Really nice composition!
(5 years and 3235 days ago)You have a knack for this kind of retouching, author! Nice job!!
(5 years and 3235 days ago)Wow! I think I would have to check my pants if I actually saw something like this while taking a stroll through the forest.
(5 years and 3235 days ago)This is really nice...good combination of sources. The foreground guy is warm and the boat is cool. Perhaps it would look more together if they were both a cooler color....since lunar light is more cold than warm. It almost looks right now as if the guy is being hit with a sunset from extreme right.
(5 years and 3235 days ago)When I see this image...I'm hearing...."Grey skies are gonna clear up...put on a happy face!" Nice imagery.
(5 years and 3235 days ago)Imaginative and beautiful. Nice approach to use the source without the swing. It belongs in a classic storybook, my friend.
(5 years and 3235 days ago)This looks superb...but one suggestion...maybe center the bottom line text.
(5 years and 3236 days ago)This is a beaut!!! Really nice work, author!
(5 years and 3237 days ago)Great work...it's beyond surreal. It made me smile...since at first I thought they were crash test dummies being used to test park benches. It then became thought provoking. Nice job!
(5 years and 3237 days ago)Kinda surreal...love the shadows.
(5 years and 3237 days ago)A beaut! Love the lightness in the blue of water. Although not quite sure about the far right side water being lit so brightly...I wouldn't change anything though...it's really great!
(5 years and 3237 days ago)Love the expression on the girl. Beautiful job, author!
(5 years and 3237 days ago)Glad I looked at the high res before I voted. Very nice job, author!
(5 years and 3237 days ago)Love how you caught the wave not entirely breaking inside of the heart. Real nice.
(5 years and 3237 days ago)Gee...Pinot Grigio? So much for Mad Dog.
(5 years and 3237 days ago)Excellent simplicity.
(5 years and 3237 days ago)Nice poignant title to fit the image.
(5 years and 3237 days ago)This is a nice sign of things to come! Great image!
(5 years and 3237 days ago)Nice going, Lolu.
(5 years and 3239 days ago)Way to go, Lois! I really loved this!
(5 years and 3239 days ago)Well done Geexman! I have to say I really liked this one as soon as I saw it...and it was one of the first uploaded in this contest. Really well done!
(5 years and 3239 days ago)This is great stuff. Keep up the great work!!
(5 years and 3240 days ago)Nice literal entry.
(5 years and 3240 days ago)Yum. Both in content and execution.
(5 years and 3240 days ago)Really like this message. Well done!
(5 years and 3240 days ago)You are really good at this style, author!
(5 years and 3240 days ago)This is sweet.
(5 years and 3240 days ago)Nice job! I like the shadow being casted on the lower ship from the upper one.
(5 years and 3240 days ago)Trippy and very nice job. Love it!
(5 years and 3241 days ago)Excellent job! The tutorial may not instruct this, but if you put a smaller and slightly darker shadow directly under the saucer it will really help the realism. Nice work.
(5 years and 3241 days ago)Nice job, author. Everything looks a bit fuzzy or soft.
(5 years and 3241 days ago)Love the color choice and nice execution!
(5 years and 3241 days ago)Agree with CMYK. It also would improve the image greatly if you tried to darken the inside areas of the cushions on the arms of the chair...it might help give some variance to the 'blue look' of the shot. Just a thought. Good job!
(5 years and 3241 days ago)Nice surrealism here.
(5 years and 3241 days ago)I like that you used the source image in a different and unusual way. Great job.
(5 years and 3241 days ago)Great stuff....PURRRRRRRR!!!
(5 years and 3241 days ago)Great job! Your blends are great! Love the highlight matching on the head.
(5 years and 3241 days ago)I like this! I almost think it would be even more effective if the outer areas weren't so saturated and gradually got to where it is on the woman. Just a thought. Great job.
(5 years and 3241 days ago)Ditto locale...funny and well done.
(5 years and 3241 days ago)Really nice feel to this. Love what you did to the headlights and rays.
(5 years and 3242 days ago)Excellent idea and execution! Please consider experimenting with changing the blending modes on the light rays and green lights. Right now, they are a bit too uniform without any variance. Light is never exactly the same. You've got a great image here and would love to see the lights really shine and blend.
(5 years and 3242 days ago)Oh man! This is great as far as I can tell...before I vote I'd like to see a high res version. Please, pretty please create a high res for all of us who choose to see the details. Thanks.
(5 years and 3242 days ago)EDIT: Hi res looks nice! Only thing I would change is possibly soften the furthest area of shadow and lighten it overall a bit.
Would love to see this in really large scale. Nice job!
(5 years and 3243 days ago)Really nice composition here. I almost hate to suggest this but perhaps if you throw the city skyline out of focus a bit...it'll give some depth. It just seems a bit unnatural to have everything be crystal clear focus. Give it a try. I like it the way it is too...but I think my suggestion will really help.
(5 years and 3243 days ago)Creepy and cool. Nice job, author!
(5 years and 3243 days ago)This is sweet. Nice job! A definite enhancement!
(5 years and 3243 days ago)This one actually made me laugh. It's great! Everytime I see it...I smile. Nice work, author!
(5 years and 3243 days ago)Great job! Very sweet. One thought however...if you use a brush with a short fade setting, it'll taper your ends of the whiskers. It might give a slightly more realistic look, but if you're just going with an illustrated look...then you've nailed it. Nice job!
(5 years and 3243 days ago)Agree with CMYK...perhaps experiment with slightly blurring the cat face...to give just a bit of depth. The window is entirely in focus and would create some depth if the cat were just a tad out of focus. Just a thought...nice job regardless!
(5 years and 3243 days ago)EDIT: Yesssssss! I think it looks Great job, author!!!
Title of this entry would be a great band name! Nice job with the image too author!
