I could really see the background blurring more gradual...but excellent work, author...kudos to a wonderful image!!
(5 years and 3662 days ago)This is great, author! It's nice to see the angle of the contest source not affected negatively by the source you've used. )y)
(5 years and 3663 days ago)Beautifully done...nice deviation from source.I like your vision. Nice color usage too. Love the reds and greys.
(5 years and 3663 days ago)Love it! Beautiful job author. Agree with CMYK about the background...perhaps use what you have and do a nice 'twirl' filter to it...or Gaussian blur it way more...just a thought.
(5 years and 3663 days ago)Nice job, author. I think if you could isolate the 'LU' of lucky and the 'SE' of horse and scale the width a bit (pulling one side closer to the rest of the word) it'll help look as if it's wrapped around the cylinder. Just a thought...
(5 years and 3663 days ago)Really nice work, author! Real eye candy. Love the transparency of the pieces too.
(5 years and 3663 days ago)If you put some small highlights on the 'saucy' areas on the snake...similar to the potatoes...it'll further the believability. Nice job, author!
(5 years and 3663 days ago)Very practical and nicely simple. Great job, author!
(5 years and 3663 days ago)Nice job with the grain...and nice idea. Some of their heads look a bit large. Giallo's is too small...I think their heads should be a bit brighter to match the original people.
(5 years and 3663 days ago)Truly a great composition. Really like its simplicity yet...it has tons of style. Perhaps if you lighten the stems in the water a bit more...it'll give a bit more difference to dry and wet. Nice job!
(5 years and 3664 days ago)EDIT: Absolutely wonderful! Love the changes!
Nice deviation! Lighting of frame pic seems too bright for the 'wall' its hanging on...if you darken it...it will help.
(5 years and 3664 days ago)Excellent and beautiful entry. Love that you used that wonderful formica pattern in your entry.
(5 years and 3664 days ago)Really beautiful image. I love the flower area...and the lighting best.
(5 years and 3664 days ago)I would pick one or the other...I like the less filtered look on the left.
(5 years and 3664 days ago)Nice job with the shadows. The color, intensity and surrealism...would make a decent ad. Nice change up from the source.
(5 years and 3664 days ago)Nice concept and design.
(5 years and 3664 days ago)Funny and really excellent idea here, author! However, you do have conflicting perspectives with the splashed water and ripples. Also, perhaps you could subdue and possibly warp and subdue the female ducks ripples so they are not so perfectly round. Just a suggestion though...it's really a great, humorous image.
(5 years and 3664 days ago)EDIT: Looks
Very nice work indeed, author!
(5 years and 3664 days ago)Nice job, author!
(5 years and 3665 days ago)I really like the concept! It's the spirit of Christmas! I love the way the pic of Santa is holding 'the magic'. The darkening makes the image more unique. I do agree with maXed about the blur, but also understand it's not supposed to convey the gifts actually 'flying'...maybe make the shadows from the gifts less circular and more oblong. I would suggest also to make the far left red gift's shadow a bit darker since it's closer to the ground...and make the other shadows varying lighter opacities. Just a thought...nice work and real cute kid. Sorry for such a long comment...
(5 years and 3665 days ago)Really nice work, here...but author, why not post a high resolution version. I would love to be able to see this in high res. Please consider it.
(5 years and 3665 days ago)This is beautiful work...really nice image, but I think it's too detailed and not really right for a logo. Simplicity is key.
(5 years and 3665 days ago)Nice job, author! Captures a really nice mood here.
(5 years and 3665 days ago)I like the blending and really nice idea. I agree with Nator...try raising the jeep up or shrinking the woman...good job, author!
(5 years and 3666 days ago)Nice idea...try skewing the upper jeep part. Right now it has an odd perspective to it.
(5 years and 3666 days ago)Really nicely done. Great color too.
(5 years and 3666 days ago)Nice idea and use of pictures.
(5 years and 3666 days ago)Nice, dreamy effect. Perfectly on theme and well executed.
(5 years and 3666 days ago)Unless the kid is dreaming...I'd say Santa is already there.
(5 years and 3666 days ago)EDIT: The entry name change helps your intention!
Really nice job, author! I think it's really screaming for at least an element in color though.
(5 years and 3666 days ago)Simplicity is golden or should I say blue and white! Nice job, author!
(5 years and 3666 days ago)An antifreeze/blood cocktail...nahhh...I know it's not what you intended. Good job!
(5 years and 3666 days ago)Interesting! Everything except for the eyes has a slightly out of focus look to it in high resolution. Nice mystery and mood to it though!
(5 years and 3666 days ago)Nicely done! I agree with CMYK, but perhaps leave the glass on top the way you have it and just remove the very top stem. That might help. Give it a try.
(5 years and 3666 days ago)Really nice change up from the source image. Good job author!
(5 years and 3666 days ago)The man looks awfully familiar Nice job author!
(5 years and 3666 days ago)Great job, author! One small suggestion...try and use the same perspective of the top rim of glass for your surface of liquid. This might help the perspective a bit more. Beautiful image
(5 years and 3666 days ago)Surreal and very interesting. Really like the color of this image!
(5 years and 3666 days ago)Love those rings...they almost take on a neon effect. The shadings give a great mood.
(5 years and 3666 days ago)I like this very much, but almost has a haze about it. Not sure if this was intended or not. If not, try giving it some contrast to make it pop more.
(5 years and 3666 days ago)Love the mood of this, perhaps if some of the further elements had some blur to it...it would give this some more depth.
(5 years and 3666 days ago)Really like the water effect...perhaps soften the edge where the water meets sand...
(5 years and 3666 days ago)Beautiful detail and really nicely done. Love it!
(5 years and 3667 days ago)Good way to get votes! More bones than I would have thought...
(5 years and 3669 days ago)Starts with D and ends with D. Nice imagery...almost think that a nice ornate, old doorknob would work well here too...and yes it's rather spooky. Great job!
(5 years and 3670 days ago)I like this...well done, author! Perhaps soften the inside edge of opening and apply some Gaussian noise...then blur it subtly. It needs some noise to match surrounding source image texture...
(5 years and 3672 days ago)Nice job, donh...way to go!
(5 years and 3674 days ago)Congrats! Marina08...fine job indeed!!
(5 years and 3674 days ago)This is wonderful...I love the the lighting and shadows. Just beautiful...I have no improvement ideas...
(5 years and 3675 days ago)Beautifully done.
