This IS using the source. It may be a 'simple' use, but overall it is a really nice composition. The different textures and colors are what make this interesting. It's visually very pleasing. Nice change of pace! Maybe try using a 'color' or 'hue' layer...sample green grass color and paint the color of brown grass to green. Set opacity back a bit and it would improve the look. Nice job!

Nice job! Small suggestion...try and lighten top of head, hand and top of sleeve without phone. The bottom of legs and shoes seem too dark for his 'new angle' in relationship with the light source. Otherwise, excellent job and image choices. Good blend too!
