This is brilliant! I'm with you on your selection. What a complex, little ball of envy...this creature is. Perfectly drawn too.
(5 years and 2956 days ago)A beaut! I love tweedy bird.
(5 years and 2956 days ago)Nice job author! I like the muted color of this image.
(5 years and 2956 days ago)Clean scarcity...! Nice mood once again from you author! Really like your work.
(5 years and 2956 days ago)Thinking outside the obvious or proverbial box! Deserves a high vote from me. Yikes!
(5 years and 2956 days ago)This has a surreal and a beautiful look to it. Nice work, author!
(5 years and 2957 days ago)This is cool...and has great potential. See if you can blend where the zebra fur is gradually into the naked part. Perhaps use a brush with various opacities with the 'scatter' function. Nice job!
(5 years and 2957 days ago)Fun job, author! This is really cool. I agree with DanielaOwergoor...she has a good eye!
(5 years and 2957 days ago)Great surreal image with really nice detail. A beaut!
(5 years and 2957 days ago)This is a great entry! You'll notice how stark the highlight is on the item the butterfly is on...can you possibly give the butterfly a highlight on the same side to give it more presence? Also maybe some slight grounding shadows under the butterfly and the item it is resting on. This might help a bit. Nice work, author!
(5 years and 2957 days ago)Somehow this would make a great CD or album cover. It has just enough color and randomness to be modern and prevalent. Nice job! I love the all the random drippers in the hair.
(5 years and 2957 days ago)This entry has a great surreal feel to it. If you varied some of the tones or luminosity of the figures on the left group of four more...I think it would help make it look a bit more random. The grey background is cool and really gives a nice contrast to the scarce green grassy areas.
(5 years and 2957 days ago)Imaginative and cool...I like the muted color look of this!
(5 years and 2957 days ago)A beaut! Nice detail and color.
(5 years and 3016 days ago)Author...I'm continuously being awed by your ability. You've done some really great stuff. Including this!
(5 years and 3016 days ago)Real eye candy. Nice work author!
(5 years and 3016 days ago)Author...I love your work as usual. Beautifully done. Plain eye candy.
(5 years and 3016 days ago)I really like this style a lot! The mystery and thought provoking mood of this is very pleasing. Wonder how they all got on top of those stacks. Doesn't matter....it's cool. Nice job!
(5 years and 3016 days ago)Very nicely done! I actually really like the darkness around the edges. It really accents the colorful beauty of this image.
(5 years and 3016 days ago)I like your humor and good thinking! Nice job.
(5 years and 3016 days ago)Glad you muted the colors and worked the shadows. Looks really good, author! I like your thinking!
(5 years and 3016 days ago)Creative use of source. Overall feel is extremely pleasing!
(5 years and 3016 days ago)I like the sepia feel allowing the colorful source show even more prominent.
(5 years and 3016 days ago)Politics aside...I like the title and really like the idea of this. The stand alone 'special' tower off center is a great touch!
(5 years and 3016 days ago)Creative and cool. Would love to have seen slightly softer edges to the vase and where wall meets surface. Perhaps a slight soft darkening on right side of edge of vase to show more cylindrical shape...but nonetheless...very nice job.
(5 years and 3016 days ago)Realistic and very pleasing! Love the textures!
(5 years and 3016 days ago)Really nice use of great source finds. I like the muted color and overall mood of this!
(5 years and 3021 days ago)Wow! Brilliantly done. Nice imagination to use various parts of the source the way you did for textures. Not sure I would ever have the patience to do such work. Really nice job!
(5 years and 3089 days ago)I think this might be more cohesive if you didn't use different effects for each frame. I like the 'halftone' effect in the lower left corner the most. Perhaps you could use that one and vary the color of each a bit. Nice job, author!
(5 years and 3089 days ago)This is cool. Perhaps if you could push back the shoulders a bit or arch the back to not be so curved, it'll match the the head of the dragon a bit more. Love the lighting and color author!
(5 years and 3089 days ago)This is a nice deviation. Good idea...perhaps put some smudges of lead in certain areas...and make the grass not so perfect and uniform.
(5 years and 3089 days ago)Imaginative and creative use of the source image. Nice final result. I like the that you retained the greyscale look overall too.
(5 years and 3089 days ago)Diligent use of source author! Decent outcome too!
(5 years and 3091 days ago)Nice composition. I would almost think a nice darkening soft vignette around the whole image would look nice too.
(5 years and 3091 days ago)Nice work, author! Love the overall color and composition. Perhaps darken the right side of the statue a bit and lighten the right to give a bit more contrast to the statue. Just a thought.
(5 years and 3091 days ago)EDIT: Marvelous! Love it!!
Nice idea with shadow and subject. Perhaps lower her left shoulder a bit and make it less 'broad' looking. This might help the overall look.
(5 years and 3091 days ago)Nice idea with thinking outside the box with the source, author!
(5 years and 3091 days ago)Clever and creative use of the source image. Perhaps you could put a bit more shape around the opening of the shoe edges. Dodge and burn might be useful there. Maybe slightly darken at the bottom of the opening of the shoe to give a bit of depth. Impressive stuff, author!
(5 years and 3091 days ago)EDIT: Looks
This doesn't immediately make me think of 'envy'...but I do like the image you've created very much. It makes me think of a good shower!
(5 years and 3091 days ago)EDIT: Thanks for your clarification, author! I feel educated now!
I give you credit author for being able to find a use for the most obscure parts of a source!!
(5 years and 3091 days ago)The simplicity is awesome!
(5 years and 3102 days ago)Who said 'White men can't jump?' This made me laugh.
(5 years and 3102 days ago)Clever job, author!
(5 years and 3102 days ago)This is great! Body and arms are fantastic! Would like to see something connecting the head though...Nice job, author!!
(5 years and 3102 days ago)Great stuff. Too bad you have to deal with immaturity like that here.
(5 years and 3102 days ago)This is brilliant! I love it!
(5 years and 3102 days ago)Nice use of the source image, author!
(5 years and 3103 days ago)I like what you've done, but since there is no SBS...I can't see the 'before' scene. Hey...wait...there's no bulb in the one wall light fixture. Maybe add one so that the brightness around it has a source.
(5 years and 3103 days ago)Brilliant composition and excellent humor.
(5 years and 3104 days ago)This made me laugh. Nice job, author!
