Water is colorless, and reflects the color of the sky or things around it. It should be much closer to the sky colors. Good image otherwise.

I like the overall look, but IMHO it needs some work.

We can see through the tree. For example the bottom part of the tree, we can see the ground through it.
The edge of the water needs some work aswell. On the left for example you have a "straight cut line".

i think the butt just needs some highlights as well as the rest of the photo-shopped part of the body to better match the aesthetic of the original, also the skin is quite a different color from the original

On the scale of 10 I would rate 9 on your idea and 8 on execution. Actually you made this kind of image before and it inspired me to make one of my work. However, I have some critiques that might help you to improve that image if you're willing to (1) The perspective or the angle of the sand is different from the gray ground, so viewers can feel the inner image (inside the frame) is actually closer and higher than the outer image; (2) the pattern of the sand and the gray ground are very different, so even though you used a high feather radius, they are not blended well

Great composition in this one - and a story in it (always bonus to have a story in a picture) as well. Especially like the expressions on their faces, the lighting, the way the drinks are presented, etc. If I were to give you one suggestion, that's to shift the composition to the right to reduce the size of the big dark area on the right and prevent the little scarecrow's "fingers" from just touching the left edge of the picture. Excellent otherwise.
