Very strong and moody lighting.. works very well here good luck.
(5 years and 3218 days ago)Very nice use of texture!
(5 years and 3218 days ago)Great mood and very effective lighting, my only problem is the size of the grass.. the source photo was taken at a low angle which make the girl look tiny. Either way it's a problem i can easily overlook. Great concept and good luck!
(5 years and 3218 days ago)Haha very cool robot. Brilliant pose.. fantastic little character. Well done author!
(5 years and 3218 days ago)Great atmosphere! Good luck author
(5 years and 3218 days ago)The overall source placement and mood is good and i love your creativity here, but i feel like the shadows could use some more work. Right now they just seem like blobs on the floor, try to give them a more defined contour that fits in with the shape that is actually casting it. I'll hold my vote for now Good luck.
(5 years and 3218 days ago)I definitely agree about the strength of the shadow, but then again with surreal lighting, surreal shadows are to be expected :P
(5 years and 3219 days ago)Really nice fantasy scene
Brilliant.. i love the slight alteration of her eyes looking upwards. Great work.
(5 years and 3219 days ago)Wonderful work! Completely agree with the Kid.
(5 years and 3219 days ago)Extremely well created, especially considering the source. Great message too.
(5 years and 3219 days ago)Excellent concept and brilliantly rendered! Love the texture.
(5 years and 3219 days ago)Incredible renders!
(5 years and 3219 days ago)Excellent command of the fantasy genre.. every image you make makes me think of fairy tales and story books.
(5 years and 3221 days ago)Edit: My only suggestion would be to make the model's shadow a little lighter, it seems very dark at the moment (or maybe blur it more?) If not i'd darken up the shadow the horse is casting.
Super creative. Lovely work
(5 years and 3221 days ago)I genuinely love this image. Very intense lighting.. fantastic work. And welcome to the site! I look forward to seeing more and more of your work
(5 years and 3221 days ago)Great job on the anatomy of the cat.. and the expression is priceless. I'd like to see the whiskers casting some light shadows, but great work.
(5 years and 3223 days ago)An inspired piece, maybe? Haha, fantastic work.. lovely style and just morbidly gorgeous.
(5 years and 3223 days ago)Excellent lighting and shading!
(5 years and 3223 days ago)Well deserved! Congrats
(5 years and 3224 days ago)I love it the way it is now.. nice bright colours, great texture and a very good drawing! Good luck
(5 years and 3226 days ago)Fantastic composition! A brilliant manipulation, i love teh transparency of the cloth and the anguish in the model's stance.
(5 years and 3226 days ago)Wonderful work, high marks
Delightfully quirky! Very nice reflections.
(5 years and 3228 days ago)Great blending! Very nice work
(5 years and 3228 days ago)Aside from the white edges around the hair that have been smudged, it's a well presented image. I'm not too keen on the frame, but it's up to you. Good luck
(5 years and 3228 days ago)Really nice concept
(5 years and 3228 days ago)Wow.. a very under hyped entry. Shame Anyhow, congratulations on your first place! Wonderful work
(5 years and 3228 days ago)Good use of lights and shadows, and your work keeps tempting me to invest in that Flood filter.
(5 years and 3228 days ago)If the texture is on the man on the right is on a separate layer, try completely desaturating it, since i assume the layer is set to soft light, the skin might look a bit more effective. To make the cracks seems stronger, maybe even try duplicating the texture.
(5 years and 3228 days ago)My only concern is now over the anonymity of the entry, but it's an incredible image and a very professional looking animation.
(5 years and 3231 days ago)I agree! Very good looking image. Good luck
(5 years and 3235 days ago)Agreed! Nice work
(5 years and 3236 days ago)It looks very authentic!
(5 years and 3236 days ago)Edit: Ahh.. that's why..
Kinda jealous of your shadows.. they look incredible! Great job
(5 years and 3236 days ago)Still a wonderful image, shame it couldn't be used in the DD contest. Good luck, high marks from me
(5 years and 3236 days ago)Just returning the favour for all those congrats!
(5 years and 3238 days ago)Congratulations Richie Really good entry.
Congrats
(5 years and 3238 days ago)I suggest shading the sphere a little to make it more round, at the moment it looks very flat. Maybe you could also make a selection of the sphere then go to filter-> render -> spherize to give it that extra shape.
(5 years and 3239 days ago)One of the more effective transformations.. good job and good luck.
(5 years and 3239 days ago)Brilliant style! High marks from me
(5 years and 3239 days ago)This site takes a very strong position on any visible nudity (wrongly, in my opinion) so you might face some trouble over that.. but this image is magnificent. Truly inspiring.. work like this is the reason i joined this site.
(5 years and 3241 days ago)I would remove the white edges around the orange butterfly and adjust the shadow underneath the bird (maybe try a different blend mode?) I'm not too sure about the transparency of the model, but i think it;s a really nice idea, and your smudged background in the sbs looks great
(5 years and 3241 days ago)A great looking drawing Nice work.
(5 years and 3241 days ago)Aside from what's already mentioned, try to soften the edges of the smoke.
(5 years and 3241 days ago)You handled the source very well, and it is definitely unique! However, if you look at the right hand side of the image the texture suddenly ends in a harsh line, maybe you could crop that edge, or simply extend the texture a little further. Good luck
(5 years and 3241 days ago)I agree.. the area around the mouth looks very messy, maybe you could use a low opacity brush with a sampled colour to smooth that area over. I like what you did with the eyes, but i also feel that if you are showing 'abuse' then perhaps you could show this a little more clearly with bruising or grazes. This is a subject to handle carefully so don't go overboard.
(5 years and 3241 days ago)Good luck
Very creative! Good use of texture
(5 years and 3241 days ago)I'd like to see a high resolution version, but even in low res the edges of the stairs look very blurry. I would also work on the shadows, at the moment they aren;t very convincing. However, the idea is a good one. Good luck
(5 years and 3241 days ago)Great 'twirl' effect.. works very nicely. I also agree with you sticking to your original idea, and i completely respect that. Even though the suggestions would add a level of complexity to this image (that might get you higher votes) the images works very well the way it is now. The blend between sources is very convincing and your lighting seems good. Great job
(5 years and 3243 days ago)More to it than meets the eye.. very realistic scene
(5 years and 3243 days ago)Great work! Brilliant idea
