My intention wasn't to insult the author, i know them and love them like a sibling, and i know they prefer receiving comments that help them improve their images, over simple "Nice work!" comments. The author knows i like their work, but when commenting on their images, i try to find nit picks to help them out.

Positives usually outweigh the negatives.. for example the selections, the sources the author chose, the blending and the overall idea.. these are all really good.

Still, i have to agree, negative points should be highlighted with respect.

Beautiful background, great reflections and a very good use of source.. i would not have this kind of patience. All i can say is that the flowery jewels on the crown look a little flat and warped, I suggest adding a bit of shading around that area to define it a little better.

I feel like without the jellyfish you could make your creature a little larger, which would really make her the main focus, especially because the colour of the tentacles is very similar to the hue of the water.

I would suggest working a little more on the detail around the head, at the moment it looks very two dimensional, and it doesn't fit with the rest of the image. I also notice (even in low-res) that there is a section of very overstretched pixels around the neck, try to avoid that by duplication and cloning.

I like the concept and the execution, but i'm not a big fan of the outer glow or the current background, perhaps some out of focus clouds, or something a little more complex than a blue gradient. Good luck

Wonderful result, and an excellent use of the source! And even though the concept of a mushroom house is a little dated, this entry looks amazing.

From your SBS it looks like you spent a lot of time on the mushroom guy you created, but he's not too visible in the final image, i suggest brightening that up a little to make him pop out some more.

The cables embedded in the amber add a level of authenticity here and look fantastic. The use of human facial elements (while blended well) i think reduce this element of mystery.. but i think comedy was what you were going for.. and you pulled it off well. High marks from me

I suggest blurring the woman's shadow a little more and adding a gradient mask that gradually reduces in opacity, right now the shadow looks a bit too strong.

Overall as an image i think it's fantastic though The light.. the use of source.. the creature.. all look wonderful Well done!

Interesting way of representing motion I'd follow Lolu's advice to create a more realistic result.
