It looks nice, but the black parts look like they are sticking out too much, it should be a little bit of a bump, if not it should be flat.

After looking at your sbs, my suggestion would be to select the baloons FIRST, before going liquify happy, that way the background would stay normal, and then the blurring afterwards won;t looks so awkward. Once again, good luck!!

They don;t looks too much like bacteria, i think you need to take the time to actually construct the body shape of a bacteria, or of a germ or anything similar and microscopic, they just looks like a bunch of over-liquified blobs right now, but that's not a problem, just a couple of baloons piled on top of each other with a little bit of warping should do the trick.
