Image is crisp and clear, but IMO it needs a little more contrast.

Glass 'glops' that you use in plants or aquariums? No matter.... they're pretty. I especially like the rainbow effects and the weird little rings you see in the hi res.

I'm sure the resolution on your camera is larger than what we see here. This image has been down sampled to 600 x 895 pixels which doesn't show it at its' best when you upload you have the option of ticking,
Save full resolution, which will save it at the size it is on your computer.

find this one, select edit,
upload the image again and this time tick save High Res.

Agree about the horizon. This scene could be brilliant with a little better positioning. Wish I could visit there.

You can still correct them now. Go to "My contest entries" by clicking under "My Stuff", make the necessary adjustments and reload the image. As for any "artistic" adjustments / enhancements to boost the image's photographic potential, it would be out of place for me to suggest. I still have a lot to learn myself.

As for Hi Res. did you check the "Save full resolution..." button when up-loading the image?

Just two points. One, please correct the horizon. Two, how about a Hi Res.? This image has a lot of potential.

Perhaps if you upload a higher res photo, we could make a better judgement.

Nice find, but it's a little bit burned in the top right part of the picture. It's distracting from the essential part of the photo : the reading head. (Maybe by croping closer to it it will cancel the disturbing elements of the top and concentrate the eye on the subject)
