Whoaa, pretty goodlooking face hugger! Lightning looks quite ok (perhaps it can be a bit darker if it's in that storage space kinda room), perhaps I wouldnt put her on such rusty pipe since it looks quite much the same in texture and color as the alien. On the other hand, it's ood camouflage . Good luck!

If you were to put the guy in front and the guy in back out of focus it would really punch up the visual of them being miniature toy players..

If you do a search for "tilt pan" you will get a better visual reference and explanation.

Edit: No not too bright. The colors are fine. Just the hand is missing out the light wich is casted on everything else.

Very nice concept and a great composition. Its hard to talk about realism in a contest like this but i think your loosing it with the blue background. I relate a blue sky to earth or an atmosphere of some sort. Space is black, and even when a nebula or galaxy is in a photo their light does not effect the rest of the photo or image. In my opinion you should tone down or rethink the blue. By the way your renders in the step by step look amazing, they remind me of the desert scenes in Star Wars.

Nice render and a Very creative idea.....some suggestion for future ref. Typical egg-shell do have some roughness but they lack specularity (but not completely) the egg yolk and the egg white (known alternatively as albumen) would have a small amount specularity even being hard boiled (prefer mine soft boiled) the crack around the top of the egg is a little to uniform needed a bit more spontaneity for a more believable end result.

The yolk drop on the table really completes this, nice job!

This pile of bricks shows promise, if you can retake, remove the implements in front of it. Use a tripod and try it in HDR.
